Dubrovnik
Bordered by high ramparts overlooking the Adriatic Sea, Dubrovnik, formerly known as Ragusa, is... more+ considered one of the jewels of world heritage. Founded by the Greeks from Epidaurus, it was populated by Slavic tribes as early as the 7th century under the protection of Byzantium. By the 12th century, the city had a political organization, and it declared itself a Republic in 1358. For over three centuries, the Republic of Dubrovnik would dominate the commerce of the Adriatic. Noble families and merchants constructed magnificent palaces, and the city flourished with churches and monasteries. In the 17th century, the city was devastated by an extremely violent earthquake. Rebuilt in a pure Baroque style, the city now boasts numerous palaces, squares, churches, and patrician houses that contribute to its splendor. Spend the day exploring Dubrovnik freely or participating in optional excursions. Full board on board.

Optional: Discover Montenegro (day trip with lunch)
Price per person: €150
Departure by coach for a panoramic discovery of the Bay of Kotor. Stop in Perast. Situated in the middle of a fjord, this village preserves some Baroque residences reflecting its rich history. Embark on a private boat to explore the two islands opposite: St. George's Island, adorned with cypress trees surrounding the remains of a 12th-century Byzantine monastery, and Our Lady of the Rocks Island, born from legend. The church is adorned with Baroque paintings by Tripo Kokolja, a famous Baroque painter from Perast.
Then, head towards Kotor, a small medieval town marked by Byzantine and Venetian influences, and whose region is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. St. Tryphon Cathedral is the finest example of Romanesque architecture on the Adriatic coast. Lunch at a restaurant and free time in Kotor. Return to Dubrovnik.
