Nature & use of data

Filovent undertakes to collect and process only the data necessary to carry out its activities, in particular for the purposes of processing and delivering the yacht chartering services booked.

Data collected

• Surname, first name, home address, email address, date of birth
• Payment data if the quotation is accepted
• Boat licence, nautical experience, connection data linked to cookies

Sources of collection

• Voluntary registration of an email address for the newsletter (unsubscription possible at any time at the bottom of each newsletter)
• Charter and booking forms completed by phone, online or from your client account
• Browsing on the www.filovent.com website

Processing purposes

• Booking boats with our partners
• Creating and managing your online client account (nautical CV, booking tracking)
• Processing invoicing and finalising your booking: financial data is used exclusively for this purpose

The cookies used by Filovent are intended to tailor browsing preferences and optimise the website pages. You can accept them by continuing to browse or configure them in your browser's help menu.

Sharing & transfer of data

All collected data is retained for Filovent's internal use and may be shared with staff from the sales, marketing and finance departments. Filovent may also share your data with:

• Our service providers involved in processing bookings (partner charter companies)
• Our online payment provider Paybox Services, in a fully secured environment
• Any potential acquirers of our company
• Any competent public authority in order to fulfil a legal, regulatory or judicial obligation

Some recipients may be based outside the European Union. The protection implemented is based on the use of providers located in countries recognised as adequate by the European Commission, or on the conclusion of standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.

Retention period

Filovent undertakes to retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, in accordance with the legal requirements in force.

Beyond these periods, the data is deleted from our systems or anonymised so that it no longer allows you to be identified.

Exercising your rights

In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access: obtain information on the processing of your data and ask questions about its nature.
• Right to rectification: request the correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to restriction: obtain restricted use of your data in certain cases provided for by law.
• Right to object: not to appear, or to no longer appear, in a data processing operation.
• Right to erasure: automatic deletion once the retention period has expired, or earlier deletion subject to a legitimate reason.
• Right to portability: request the transfer of your data to another organisation, within the limits of what is technically possible.
