Itinerary

Hô Chi Minh
Meet at the hotel in Saigon between 12:30 and 13:30 (the hotel address will be given to you).... more+ Transfer to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we will explore the local Chinatown and discover the daily life of its inhabitants. We will also visit the Giac Lam pagoda, over 300 years old and the oldest pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City. Finally, we will visit the flower market and the Binh Tay market for a 15-minute walking tour to discover how the locals buy and sell food and local products. Transfer to the boat. Installation in the cabins. Welcome cocktail. Dinner on board.
After dinner, there will be an opportunity to discover Saigon in a different way. On the programme: "Saigon After Dark", from 6pm to 10pm. An evening excursion with a culinary adventure. On the back of a vintage Vespa scooter, you will enter the heart of Saigon's nightlife. You'll get a taste of the local flavours as you make your way from one stop to the next, enjoying cocktails, seafood tastings, cold drinks and Vietnamese creperies. Finally, you'll be treated to a live music concert. Return to the boat and spend the night on board.

Visit Hô Chin Minh. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's pre-eminent economic hub, is a bustling city that... more+ once sparkled like the pearl of the Far East. The walking tour will take you to remarkable sites such as the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the City Post Office, City Square and the Opera House, all of which were strongly influenced by French colonialism in the 19th century. Take advantage of the city's dynamism and explore the green spaces while enjoying the beauty of nature in the midst of this vibrant city. Discover the local coffee culture. Vietnam is famous for its high quality coffee production and there are many coffee shops in the city centre.
After lunch, we will head to the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City. This museum is a must-see if you want to understand the history of Vietnam. Founded after the country's reunification and opened to the public in 1975, it pays tribute to Vietnamese fighters and inhabitants during the war and highlights war crimes, aiming to inspire peace throughout the world. Return on board and sail to My Tho. Dinner and overnight on board.

My Tho Cai Be Sa Dec
Depart on a cruise to the magnificent Chao Gao canal, the entrance to Saigon, where you will... more+ discover the lively canal, full of ships and activities, while feeling close to life on land. Arrival at My Tho.
You will begin with a cruise by local boat to the island of Thoi Son, where you will have the opportunity to appreciate the daily life of the islanders and taste seasonal fruit. You will also take a sampan ride along the picturesque canals to get a close-up view of the Mekong Delta and its unique features. Later, by bicycle, you can explore the village and admire the region's magnificent orchards. This is an ideal opportunity to connect with the locals and witness their way of life.
Return to the boat and continue your journey to Cai Be, a small, authentic, popular and bustling town on the lush banks of the Mekong. It is also the capital of tropical fruit: bananas, pineapples, papayas, longans, rambutans, mangoes, water apples... The arroyos naturally water the orchards. Excursion by local boat with a stop at a craft village where you can watch local products being made. Enjoy a hot tea and fresh fruit while listening to local music. Off to the restaurant for a cooking lesson with a local chef. A little rest after lunch is in order, before setting off on another kayaking adventure. An unusual experience in the Mekong Delta offering a unique aquatic perspective. If you wish, you can explore the countryside on a mountain bike, offering another view of the local landscape. Whichever activity you choose, you'll get a distinctive glimpse of the beauty and authenticity of the Mekong River. Return on board. Sail to Sa Dec for dinner and overnight on board.

Sa Dec Chau Doc
Take a panoramic tour of Sa Dec by local boat and see Trung Vuong primary school (closed on... more+ Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and New Year's Day). Afterwards, enjoy a stroll through the Sa Dec market on the riverbank. (The local market will be closed on Lunar New Year). The spectacular fruit and vegetable market is held under the modern metal hall. Not far away, a tall building topped by a spire, whose architecture is reminiscent of a church, actually houses the old covered market, where traders in traditional conical hats stand on tiled stalls amid chickens, fish and spices. Return on board for lunch. Afternoon sail to Chau Doc. Dinner cruise and overnight on board.

Chau Doc Phnom Penh
Situated on the border between Cambodia and Vietnam, the prosperous town of Chau Doc has developed... more+ around fishing and fish farming. You will board a small boat to visit a village belonging to the Cham minority. Bamboo fish dryers are installed one metre above the surface of the water. The booming city centre still boasts colonial-style houses in the lively and colourful market square. As always, these lively neighbourhoods, beyond the strong smells, offer some wonderful photo opportunities. Return to the boat for lunch. Continue sailing towards the Vinh Xuong border. Arrival at the Vinh Xuong border. Customs clearance and entry formalities into Cambodia. Set sail for Pnom Penh, which you will reach in the evening. Dinner on board, overnight at anchor.

Enjoy a visit to the fabulous Royal Palace, one of the most impressive examples of Cambodian... more+ architecture, and its Silver Pagoda. Continue with a visit to the National Museum. In the afternoon, visit the region by "tuk-tuk", an authentic and immersive experience like no other. You will visit the beautifully renovated Art Deco Central Market and discover the local shopping scene. Known as 'PhsarThmei', the market is a bustling hub for shopping for clothes, food and souvenirs.
Afterwards, you'll take a stroll through the city's off-the-beaten-track alleyways, getting up close and personal with the daily lives of Cambodians. Observe those timeless moments when the locals savour their coffee while playing Cambodian-style chess, and discover the local cuisine in its most authentic form. Then visit the Wat Phnom pagoda. According to legend, Wat Phnom was built in the 14th century as a shelter for Buddha statues. It was Daun Penh, a wealthy old woman, who discovered four bronze and stone Buddha statues in a tree trunk washed up on the banks of the Mekong. From here, enjoy a short walk to the French Quarter, where you can get a taste of the colonial era while admiring the beautiful architecture. The district boasts many Belle Époque and Art Deco houses and public buildings dating from the French protectorate (1863-1953).
Back on board, enjoy a performance of classical Khmer music and dance. Dinner and overnight on board. Evening at leisure.

Oudong Phnom Penh Kampong Tralach Kampong Chhnang
Sail to Oudong, the royal residence and capital of Cambodia for over 250 years. Visit to the... more+ Vipassana Dhura Pagoda, located at the foot of a hill with numerous stupas dating back to the last Khmer kings. It is also a place of meditation for Buddhist monks. Then it's on to Oudong Hill, which requires you to climb a number of steps. The climb may seem a little tough, but your effort will be rewarded at the top with a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside, rice paddies and the Tonle Sap, before you stroll through these places steeped in Cambodian history. Back on board, sail to Kampong Tralach. Lunch on board. Visit the beautiful Vihara of the Wat Kampong Tralach Leu pagoda. It is reached by crossing the village by tuk-tuk on a small road perpendicular to the river in the middle of a magnificent landscape of rice fields. The vihara dates from the beginning of the last century and was probably built on an older site, as the laterite foundations suggest. The vihara retains some magnificent murals. On the way back, you can join the boat by "tuk-tuk" or enjoy a mountain bike experience through the magnificent countryside admiring the beauty of the rice fields surrounding the area before rejoining the boat. Sail to Kampong Chhnang. Dinner and overnight on board.

Kampong Chhnang Koh Chen
Visit to Kampong Chhnang, one of the largest fishing ports on the Tonle Sap lake. There are also... more+ many fish farms. The region is also famous for its traditional pottery, which combines ancient knowledge with modern techniques - Chhnang actually means "pot port". Tasting of local products before returning to the boat. Sail to Kampong Tralach. For those looking for more activity, there is the option of cycling from Kampong Chhnang along the river to the pottery village to explore the area. Return on board for lunch. Afternoon sailing to Koh Chen. Gala evening. Overnight on board.
