Many of you have approached us over the last few days and we would like to thank you for your great understanding in the face of the unprecedented situation we are currently experiencing together.

FILOVENT IS DOING ITS UTMOST

Anxious to be able to guarantee you a quality service during this difficult period, we maintain all our activity at a distance. Thanks to teleworking and the communication tools put in place, our teams are at your disposal and at your side. However, in the face of a considerable influx of enquiries, we thank you for being indulgent with our advisers.

LEGAL PROVISIONS

In this unprecedented context, in order to face exceptional human and economic challenges, Mr Lemoyne, Secretary of State for Tourism, announced on 17 March 2020 by decree a vast plan to support the tourism industry. The decree allows tourism stakeholders to not immediately reimburse the service and to encourage postponement.

"The implementation of a credit note in place of a refund should make it possible to balance support for businesses in the sector in this period of crisis with respect for consumer rights, the same report states. It should be noted that these measures were defined after discussions with consumer associations. »

WHAT DOES FILOVENT OFFER?

Departures from June 1st to June 30th

River tourism
The "Voies Navigables de France" (VNF) informs that the reopening of the canals would only take place on 29/05/2020.

The following regions are concerned:

Aquitaine,
Noon,
Camargue,
Central Burgundy,
Saône,
Doubs,
and Alsace,

For the other waterways, managed by the regions or departments:
Lot: to date date announced 15/05, should evolve, we are waiting for new elements.
Anjou and Charente: awaiting written confirmation as to whether navigation can be resumed from 11/05 (date of end of containment announced to date by the French government)
Brittany: this morning we received an email from the region announcing a resumption of sailing on 5/06; if the date could be brought forward, the region would let us know as soon as possible.

WHAT DOES THE INSURER PROPOSE?

The broker CSA and Groupama have agreed the following:

- The bond redemption will be postponed at no extra charge for your next departure.

- Cancellation insurance is valid under the terms of the contract (hospitalization or death due to Covid-19 among others) but will end on the day the contract is postponed. You will be able to take out a new cancellation contract for your next departure, only after October 1.
