There’s plenty to do, from the many parrillas serving authentic Argentine steaks to tango lessons.

And if you’re up for it, you could arrive a few days early to explore the city.

Ushuaia Garibaldi
Our goal for the day: a scenic cruise through Garibaldi Fjord, located in Alberto de Agostini... more+ National Park, to reach the glacier of the same name. Here, the Andes plunge into the Pacific, and massive glaciers pour their ice into the magnificent fjord.

The region is also a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve: its teeming waters are home to seals, sea lions, and numerous seabirds, including the impressive Andean condor.

Weather permitting, we’ll reach the Garibaldi Glacier at the head of the fjord, one of the most impressive in Chile.

The exploration of Alberto de Agostini National Park continues through the Almirantazgo Strait and... more+ its towering mountain peaks, leading to Ainsworth Bay, a coastal inlet fed by the Marinelli Glacier, a retreating glacier.
There, you’ll discover the effects of glacial meltwater on local ecosystems and wildlife—a phenomenon observed throughout the Southern Patagonian Ice Field.

The next day, depending on the tide, we’ll sail through the White Narrows to Puerto Natales. Less than 100 meters wide in places, this waterway—nestled between islets and steep rocky cliffs—is navigable only at low tide and during daylight hours.
