In the afternoon, enjoy the city at your own pace. At midnight, the ship will leave the Austrian capital and sail towards the Wachau Valley. Night on board.

Vienne Dürnstein Melk
Full board on board. Today, we wake up in Dürnstein, a charming town in the heart of the winding... more+ Wachau Valley with a medieval castle. From the quay, you can walk directly to the historic center through the medieval city gates to Prangerplatz. From there, you have a beautiful view of the castle ruins, famous for being the place where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned. Don't miss the opportunity to taste the typical wines of the Wachau region. At noon, we leave Dürnstein to enjoy the scenery of the beautiful Wachau Valley. In the early afternoon, we dock at Melk, a small town in the heart of the impressive Wachau Valley. It is world-famous for its Benedictine abbey perched on top of a rock overlooking the river (optional visit). At the end of the afternoon, the boat will leave Melk and sail towards Linz. Night on board.

Our optional guided tour will take you along grand boulevards to the famous Parliament, the Opera House, Heroes' Square, Market Square, the Chain Bridge, and the Fisherman's Bastion with its spectacular view of the city. Budapest is not to be missed at night when the city is lit up. Discover it at your own pace. Overnight stop. Night on board.

Budapest Esztergom Bratislava
Full board on board. Early in the morning, we will arrive in Esztergom, the former Hungarian... more+ capital. This small town of 28,000 inhabitants is located about 45 kilometers from Budapest and is famous for being home to the country's largest basilica (larger than St. Stephen's Basilica in the capital), which is 118 meters high and 49 meters wide and took 47 years to build. It was inaugurated in 1869. Today, it is the seat of the Catholic Church in Hungary. Esztergom was the capital of Hungary between the 10th and 13th centuries before moving to Buda. In the early afternoon, we will set sail for Bratislava. Night on board (on December 25 and January 1, the basilica will be closed).
