In the afternoon, enjoy the city at your own pace or take an optional tour of Schönbrunn Palace. At midnight, the boat leaves the Austrian capital and sails towards the Wachau valley. Dürnstein Melk Linz
Today we wake up in Dürnstein, a charming village in the heart of the winding Wachau valley with a... more+ medieval castle. From the pier, you can walk directly into the historic town centre, through the medieval town gates and on to Pranger Square. From here, there is a fine view of the ruins of the castle, famous for being the place where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned. Don't miss the chance to sample the wines typical of the Wachau region. At midday, we leave Dürnstein to enjoy the scenery of the magnificent Wachau valley. In the early afternoon, we moor in Melk, a small town in the heart of the magnificent Wachau Valley. It is world-famous for its Benedictine abbey on a rocky peak overlooking the river (optional visit). In the late afternoon, the boat will leave Melk and sail to Linz. Overnight on board.

Early in the morning, we arrive in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Our optional guided tour... more+ will take you around this imperial city. In the afternoon, we will leave Bratislava and head for Budapest. Overnight on board.

Budapest Esztergom Vienne
After breakfast, we will arrive in Esztergom. This is an important place in Hungary's history, as... more+ it was the first capital of the Kingdom of Hungary and it was here that the first king, Stephen I, was crowned in the year 1000. The Basilica of Esztergom is the largest church in Hungary and the symbol of the city. Inside is the largest organ in Hungary. At lunchtime, we set sail for Vienna. In the evening, dinner with the Captain. Night on board.
