In the morning, you will visit the Temple of Isis on the island of Philae. This temple complex was... more+ built during the Ptolemaic period. Embarkation is around 1:00 PM. You will enjoy lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo. In Kom Ombo, we will visit the double sanctuary of the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroëris. This double sanctuary features symmetrical architecture, with each half dedicated to its respective god. Dinner and an overnight stay will be on board.

We sail north at sunrise. In Edfu, we take carriages to the temple district of Horus. The temple is... more+ certainly one of the most impressive monuments along the banks of the Nile. Today, it stands as the largest and best-preserved temple in Egypt. Built during the Greco-Roman period, it exhibits classic features of Egyptian architecture. Two elegant black granite statues of Horus flank the entrance to the pylon, which leads to a wide colonnade and the first hypostyle hall. We reach Esna in the early evening and stay overnight on board.

In the morning, we have breakfast on deck and enjoy sailing the final stretch to Luxor. In the... more+ afternoon, we visit the extensive temple complexes of Karnak and Luxor Temple. The largest temple complex in Egypt has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979, along with Luxor Temple and the Theban Necropolis. The afternoon is free for leisure activities. In the evening, we have the option to attend the sound and light show at Karnak Temple. We bid farewell to the crew with a festive evening of folklore, followed by dinner and an overnight stay on board.
