Paris Lagny-sur-Marne
Panoramic tour of Paris and stroll through the most beautiful covered passages.
This city tour... more+ will take you to see the major landmarks of the capital, such as Place de la République, the grand boulevards, the Opera, La Madeleine, Place Vendôme, and the Louvre. From the Palais Royal, we invite you to a unique walk through the most beautiful covered passages of Paris. These passages, shortcuts for pedestrians, are like small villages in the heart of the capital. You will travel back in time and history around the Palais Royal. These galleries have retained all their charm, but Shiseido, Jean Paul Gaultier, Stella McCartney, and many others bring luxury and creativity here.
Return on board and departure to sail towards Lagny-sur-Marne. You will travel along the Seine and see some major sites and monuments, such as Place de la Concorde, the Île de la Cité, Notre-Dame Cathedral… Then you will join the Marne River, which winds its way through the towns east of Paris. The Neuilly lock marks the entrance to the Chelles canal, built in the 19th century. It notably allows bypassing the Noisiel dam. After passing the Vaires-sur-Marne lock, the boat returns to the Marne and crosses more industrial landscapes before reaching Lagny-sur-Marne, nicknamed "Little Paris". Free time.

Lagny-sur-Marne Saint-Jean-les-Deux-Jumeaux
Sailing towards Isles-les-Meldeuses. You will cruise along the Marne River, passing through fields... more+ and forests dotted with charming villages. The journey continues on the Chalifert Canal, a 12-kilometer-long engineering structure built in the 19th century. In Meaux, you rejoin the Marne, where it forms a loop that gives the town a bucolic charm.
In the afternoon, guided tour of Meaux and cheese tasting. The town preserves architectural traces from different periods. Highlights include the Saint-Étienne Cathedral, the Bishop’s Palace (now the Museum of Fine Arts), Gallo-Roman ramparts, and the Bossuet Garden. You will then return to the boat for a tasting of the famous Brie de Meaux. According to legend, Io, beloved of Zeus, was the mother of the cows whose milk was used to make Brie. It was here, in the former Benedictine abbey, that the cellarer monk Dom Pérignon discovered the method of making sparkling wine in the 18th century.
