Departure by coach for Heidelberg and visit of the town and its castle (exterior). Every artist has immortalized Heidelberg, but it was above all the German Romantics of the 19th century who made Heidelberg a myth and one of the cities of Romanticism. After a guided tour of the old town, you'll have some free time to discover the enchanting atmosphere of its Christmas market. Whether on Market Square with its large Christmas pyramid, on University Square with its ancient carousel or on Kornmarkt with its dreamlike winter forest, a winter stroll through Heidelberg is a must. Lively evening on board. Overnight stopover in Speyer.

From the gentle music box to the titanic concert-piano orchestrion, no fewer than 350 automatic instruments have been brought together to form one of the largest and most beautiful collections from the 18th to the 20th century, displayed over an area of more than 400 m². Free time at the Christmas market. Take a stroll through the city and discover the Christmas Market of the Nations in Rüdesheim's historic center. Stroll through the 120 little wooden chalets and discover this German-style market, with its unique range of handicrafts, gift ideas and culinary specialties such as shortbread, Weihnachtsgebäck and pretzels. Walk down the famous Drosselgasse to the ship. Return on board for dinner. Evening at leisure in the famous Drosselgasse. Charming alleyway with many “guinguettes”. Overnight stopover in Rüdesheim.

A river steeped in history, the Rhine fascinates... more+ visitors with its many legends, including that of the Loreley and its famous rock, its vineyards and its many castles, which can be seen along the way. In the afternoon, optional excursion: guided tour of Koblenz and Ehrenbreitstein fortress. At the heart of the picturesque Rhine-Moselle region, surrounded by the four Rhine massifs, the city of Koblenz offers visitors a rich array of cultural monuments and historic buildings. Take the funicular up to the Ehrenbreitstein fortress for a magnificent view of the city, the Rhine and the Moselle. Overlooking the mouth of the Moselle, it dominates the Rhine valley from a position of great strategic importance. After the visit, free time to discover the Koblenz Christmas market. The traditional Koblenz Christmas market takes place on several squares in the picturesque atmosphere of the historic old town, with ruined wooden chalets wafting the scent of gingerbread, toasted almonds, cinnamon and mulled wine. Gala evening on board. Night sail to Cologne.

We’ll take the funicular railway up the hill to visit the historic castle, where we'll have a magnificent view across the city and valleys. You’ll immediately understand the strategical importance of this fortress throughout history as the land stretches as far as the eye can see. Afterwards, enjoy some free time at the Christmas market, where the yuletide tradition has taken place for centuries. The romantic holiday market runs from the old city to the famous Deutsches Eck.
