Itinerary

Tromso
Nestled against snow-covered mountains, the lively city of Tromsø is the perfect starting point... more+ for an adventure. It has served as the base for many historic Arctic expeditions, including those of Roald Amundsen, and its location 250 miles north of the Arctic Circle has earned it the nickname "Gateway to the Arctic."
If you arrive early in Tromsø, we recommend exploring the city before joining your cruise. There is plenty to see, such as the Polar Museum, where you can learn about the city's exploration heritage. Be sure to also visit the striking Arctic Cathedral, featuring its immense stained glass window.

Tromso Lyngen
Over the next seven days, we will explore four distinct regions, each offering exceptional features... more+ and unique beauty. The first region we will likely visit is Lyngen.
The picturesque Lyngen region is a landscape of snow-covered, rugged mountains and a paradise for winter activities. The Lyngen Fjord stretches over 160 km. We will spend the day exploring nature through hikes, snowshoe walks, and, if conditions permit, kayaking excursions.

Later, we will take time to enjoy a truly convivial moment. After this active day, we’ll gather on the beach to enjoy the warmth of a campfire. With hot drinks in hand and Norwegian dishes prepared by our onboard chefs, you’ll feel truly in harmony with nature. If we’re lucky, the Northern Lights might put on a show for us.

Lyngen Senja
Sometimes nicknamed "Norway in Miniature," Senja is Norway's second-largest island. With its rugged... more+ mountains, sandy beaches, dark forests, and idyllic fishing villages, you’ll understand why it earned this name. Wild reindeer roam the island, so keep an eye out to spot them!
During our expedition, we’ll visit a local community and experience the warm Scandinavian hospitality. We’ll learn about Sámi culture and life in isolated villages during the winter months.

In December and January, we may sail through darkness or twilight during the day, which will only enrich our experience with glittering snowy landscapes illuminated by the low sun and starlight.

Senja Lofoten
As we sail towards the Lofoten Islands, the expedition team will look for the best spot for a... more+ nature landing, possibly on one of the many beautiful beaches likely covered in pristine snow. We might venture out in our small expedition boats to explore remote islands or bring out the kayaks.
Approaching the rugged mountains of the Lofoten Islands by boat is an unforgettable experience. You’ll be amazed by the scenery as we navigate through this region of wind-swept islands, sheltered bays, and some of the world’s most stunning fjords. Keep an eye out for sea eagles while marveling at the extraordinary beauty of this coastline.
