Panoramic Suite – Upper Deck
Capacity: 2 Berths maximum
Our Expedition Suites are the ship's most luxurious cabins. Located on the upper deck of the ship, these cabins feature a sitting area with TV and a bathroom with shower and WC. Most cabins have a double bed. Some suites are better equipped than others.
A superb welcome gift awaits each en suite passenger in his or her cabin.
Premium Outside Cabin – Upper Deck
Capacity: 2 Berths maximum
Our Arctic Supérieures cabins invite you to relax in the utmost comfort. Located on the two upper decks, these cabins feature a bathroom with shower and WC. They are also equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities and a TV. All cabins offer a double bed and an unobstructed view.
Located on decks 5 and 6, cabins are equipped with TV, queen-size bed, kettle and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Comfort Outside Cabin – Middle Deck
Capacity: 2 Berths maximum
Located on the upper deck, these comfortable outside cabins can accommodate up to two people. They feature a double bed, armchair, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. These cabins overlook the promenade deck.
Outside Cabin - Middle or Lower Deck
Capacity: 2 Berths maximum
Our exterior Polar cabins are mainly located on the middle or lower decks. All have en-suite bathrooms with shower and WC, and most have flat-screen TVs. Cabins feature single beds, one of which converts into a sofa, or bunk beds. All cabins have their own special features.

Your journey begins in Bergen, Norway's second... more+ largest city and the gateway to the fjords. Founded in 1070, Bergen features architecture influenced by the Hanseatic League, a prosperous German trading organization from the 14th century.
If you have time before your ship departs, visit the UNESCO-listed wharves of the colorful Bryggen district, now a charming artisan neighborhood with cobblestone streets. Just across the street is the famous fish market, offering delicious seafood. You can also take the Fløibanen funicular up to the top of Mount Fløyen for breathtaking views of the city.

Before embarking, you can relax in the comfort of our passenger lounge at the terminal. Once on board, savor the first of many delicious meals prepared with fresh coastal ingredients as we depart Bergen and sail the ancient Viking route along the Hjeltefjord.

Bergen Alesund Molde
Enjoy an early morning in the beautiful Nordfjord, near Torvik. We will then round the western cape... more+ and approach Ålesund. It is famous for its stunning Art Nouveau architecture and its Atlanterhavsparken, one of the largest saltwater aquariums in Northern Europe. If you are traveling with us in spring or winter, you will spend much of the day exploring this picturesque town.
In summer, we will head for the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage-listed Geirangerfjord*, passing through some of the most beautiful scenery Norway has to offer. Once in the fjord, you may have the chance to see the famous Seven Sisters waterfalls cascading down the cliffs.
*Geirangerfjord is replaced by Hjørundfjord for these sailings: 2024: June 5th, 16th, 27th, July 8th, 19th, 30th, August 10th, 21st
2025: June 1st, 12th, 23rd, July 4th, 15th, 26th, August 6th, 17th, 28th
In spring, from April to May (Only on departures from 2025-26), and in autumn, from September to October, your ship will sail to the Hjørundfjord, hidden in the Sunnmøre Alps. A stop is also planned in the picturesque village of Urke to admire the thousand-year-old farms, the fjord, and the lush mountainside.
The last port of call for the day is Molde. In summer, there may just be enough light to enjoy the incredible view of the 222 mountain peaks that rise across the fjord, known as "The Molde Panorama." From mid-June to the end of August, the city's streets and gardens are adorned with fragrant roses of all colors, living up to its nickname "The City of Roses."

Molde Trondheim Rorvik
On this leg of the journey, we enter Norway's Trøndelag region, characterized by rolling hills,... more+ farm-dotted fields and low-lying coastal villages. Founded by Viking chieftain Olav Tryggvason in 997, Trondheim is now Norway's third-largest city, with a mix of historic buildings and a thriving student population.
You'll have three hours to explore Trondheim and its highlights, either on your own or on one of our optional excursions.
The city's landmark, Nidaros Cathedral, nicknamed “Our Lady of Norway” for its Gothic style, is considered the most sacred building in Norway. Close to the cathedral is the Archbishop's Palace, where the Norwegian Crown Jewels are displayed.
Nearby, the city's old bridge, the Gamle Bybro, spans the River Nidelva and marks the entrance to the old Hanseatic quarter of Bakklandet. The district's colorful wooden quays, set on stilts on the river's edge, are now home to trendy restaurants. At the top of Bakklandet stands the Kristiansten fortress, offering fine panoramic views of the city and fjord.
In the afternoon, the ship heads northwest, passing the ochre lighthouse of Kjeungskjær, islets and rocky reefs. After that, we'll head for the charming town of Rørvik.

We will cross the Arctic Circle early in the morning to begin our exploration of the Norwegian... more+ Arctic. This moment is marked by a traditional ceremony that will surely wake you up!
Above the Arctic Circle, the sun is visible 24 hours a day in summer, while in winter, your chances of seeing the Northern Lights increase considerably.
At 10:00 am, we will make a stop at Ørnes, near Norway's second largest glacier, Svartisen. Here, the pier is known for its Love Bench where lovers declare their feelings by attaching a padlock.
We will then sail towards Bodø, the second largest city in Northern Norway, dominated by the peaks of the Børvass mountains. You can admire the fabulous street art or participate in an optional boat trip to Saltstraumen, the world's strongest maelstrom.
This afternoon, the ship will enter the Lofoten archipelago. The Lofoten Wall, 1,000 meters high, offers an impressive spectacle on the horizon, as if it were there to welcome us.
The port of Stamsund is home to one of the largest fishing fleets in the islands. Activity is particularly intense from January to April, when Arctic cod, known locally as skrei, swims from the Barents Sea north to the Vestfjord to spawn.
As evening approaches, the sight of the rows of traditional fishing huts on stilts, called rorbus, will mark your arrival in the beautiful port of Svolvær, the main town in the Lofoten Islands.

Svolvaer Harstad Tromso Skjervoy
We dock in Harstad just after 7:00 a.m., giving you the opportunity for an early-morning stroll... more+ through the town while it's still peaceful.
The ship then heads for Finnsnes, which connects to the beautiful island of Senja via the impressive Gisund Bridge.
Keep an eye out for various seabirds, including puffins, of which there are several colonies nearby. It's also possible to spot whales in these waters, especially in winter.
We'll then head for Tromsø, the historic capital of Arctic exploration, where you'll have four hours to explore the town or take part in an optional excursion.
You'll find Polaria, the world's most northerly aquarium, on the waterfront. And you can take your pick from the many stores and restaurants in the city center, including Mack's Brewery and Ølhallen pub, a popular local café. And let's not forget the trendy cafés serving delicious cinnamon rolls and where baristas compete to create innovative works of coffee art. On the other side of the fjord, from where the ship is moored, you should be able to see the iconic Arctic Cathedral with its magnificent mosaic of stained glass windows. We leave Tromsø in the early evening and head north towards the trading post of Skjervøy, founded in 1622. On the way, we pass the Lyngen Alps, towering majestically above the sea.

The ship will reach the town of Hammerfest on the island of Kvaløya early in the morning. In... more+ summer, the island is home to herds of reindeer that migrate here in their thousands.
You'll know we've arrived in Havøysund when you see the wind turbines of the famous Havøyglaven wind farm, which produces enough electricity to power 6,000 local homes.
On the roof of Europe
We arrive in Honningsvåg, the gateway to the North Cape, mid-morning. A monument in the shape of a globe marks the northernmost point of continental Europe. The optional excursion to the spectacular promontory is very popular, so early booking is recommended.
Near the entrance to the village of Kjøllefjord, look out for Finnkirka, an impressive building-shaped rock formation. This ancient sacrificial site was once used by the Sámi natives. You can join an optional excursion to meet local Sámi, learn about their life as reindeer herders and listen to Joik folk songs.
We reach Mehamn, our northernmost port of call, in the evening. If you visit in February and March, you'll see tons of cod drying in the open air on wooden racks called hjell, mainly destined for export.
The ship then sails for Berlevåg. On the way, we pass the great Slettnes lighthouse, the most northerly continental lighthouse on the planet.

Berlevag Vadso Kirkenes
We stop off in Båtsfjord and Vardø overnight, before docking in Vadsø early in the morning.
The... more+ area around Vadsø is one of the most beautiful and popular birdwatching areas in the Arctic, as it lies directly on the migratory route of birds from the east. Keep an eye out for mantled crows and eagles.
Kirkenes is just a few kilometers from the border. This is where your cruise along the Norwegian coast ends, and you'll have traveled even further east than St. Petersburg and Istanbul. We look forward to seeing you again, perhaps on the classic North to South voyage next time!

Excursion to the North Cape
The North Cape plateau stretches 307 meters above the Arctic Ocean. Welcome to Europe's northernmost point. Unlike previous passengers who had to climb to the top of the cliff, a bus from Honningsvåg will take you to your destination. You'll have plenty of... more+ time to stroll around the plateau and take photos in front of the monumental globe.
Enjoy a generous breakfast buffet in the North Cape Hall as you gaze out over the Barents Sea, before experiencing the four seasons of the North Cape through a panoramic film. In the North Cape Hall, inside the cliff, you can buy handcrafted gifts for your loved ones in the gift store and visit the chapel and small museum.
Departing from Honningsvåg, we take an underwater tunnel that links the town to the mainland. The bus then takes us south along the majestic Porsangerfjord, before heading back along the coast to Hammerfest, one of the world's most northerly towns.

Discover the incredible story of the indigenous Sámi people who inhabit Europe's northernmost region. Known for their reindeer herding, traditional Duodji crafts and affinity with nature, the Sámi people have a particularly rich history and culture.

The... more+ Sápmi, as the Sámi call it, is their territory, stretching from central Norway to the north-western tip of Russia and including northern Sweden and Finland. Sámi reindeer herders live a nomadic lifestyle. They follow the instinctive migrations of the reindeer, from the inland plains to the coast in April and back inland in September.

On this tour, you'll meet a family whose reindeer graze in the summer pastures on the Nordkinn peninsula. As the animals graze peacefully, we'll enter the lavvo tent and sit around the crackling fire. Savor dried reindeer meat while listening to colorful stories and joik songs, and get a real taste of the Sámi way of life.
