Itinerary

Dakar
Meeting at Paris airport. Welcomed by your tour guide, assistance with check-in formalities. Flight... more+ to Dakar on a scheduled airline. Arrive at the airport, meet your local guide and transfer by coach to your 4* hotel. The capital of Senegal and the first ‘gateway to Africa’, Dakar is today a city resolutely open to the outside world. But it is also, and perhaps above all, a city of tradition and history, which has managed to reconcile a certain modernism with an ancient African heritage. Europeans and Africans alike will tell you: Dakar can't leave you indifferent, and you'll fall under its spell. Check-in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Dakar
Located 40 km north of Dakar, Lac Rose is one of Senegal's most visited sites. Set between lagoons... more+ and the ocean, this salty lake owes its colour - which varies from pink to mauve depending on the time of day and the intensity of the sun - to the presence of microscopic algae and micro-organisms. The coloured waters of the lake contrast with the white sand of the surrounding dunes. In addition to the variations in colour, life on the lake is punctuated by the activity of the pirogues used to collect the salt. More than two thousand men make their living from this activity. Day trip (approx. 8hrs) - 140 €/pers.
