During these five magical days, you will explore frozen landscapes dotted with majestic glaciers. Upon our arrival, summer is coming to an end in Antarctica, promising incredible sunsets that bathe the landscape in unparalleled light. The season is ideal for observing penguins at the end of their molting season and whales, attracted in large numbers by the krill-rich waters. The expedition team will organize landings and small boat excursions, and perhaps even a kayak trip among the icebergs. Back on board, they will continue their lectures on the frozen continent.

Day 10 and Day 11: After your dazzling experiences in Antarctica, the Falkland Islands await you.... more+ Your expedition team will take advantage of the sea voyage to enlighten you about the history and biology of these isolated islands. Visit the Science Center to observe krill and phytoplankton, which feed so many animals in the region, under a microscope. Ask our professional photographer for advice or take part in introductory workshops on animal painting or nautical knots. Or perhaps you'd prefer to treat yourself to a spa treatment, work out in the fitness room, or sample typical dishes prepared with local ingredients in our restaurants.

Day 12 to Day 14: The Falkland Islands archipelago is a picture postcard of panoramic horizons,... more+ white sandy beaches, and abundant birdlife. Apart from a few isolated farms, grassy hills dotted with wildflowers take center stage here, in striking contrast to the frozen expanses of Antarctica. We will also visit Stanley, the Jubilee Villa Gardens, Christ the King Cathedral, and the Historic Shipyard Museum. As always, the landings, hikes, and excursions we offer will be determined by weather conditions. We hope to get close to the albatross, penguin, and seal colonies, while respecting their tranquility.
