Day 4 to Day 8: Antarctic Peninsula The captain and expedition leader will determine the itinerary... more+ each day based on ice conditions and sighting opportunities. Possible stops and landings include: • Port Neko A spectacular natural amphitheater where glaciers and alpine peaks plunge into the sea. Icebergs drift in an eerily calm bay, while a colony of gentoo penguins enlivens the shores. • Paradise Bay One of Antarctica's most iconic sites: majestic fjords, glacier fronts descending to the water, and vast fields of floating icebergs. A total immersion in the silent beauty of the white continent. • Neumayer Strait A striking strait, framed by high mountains and ice barriers. Rorquals, orcas, and whales are frequently sighted here. Colonies of Adélie penguins, cormorants, and seals complete this wild and grandiose picture.

• Lemaire Channel A legendary passage lined with steep peaks where glaciers cling to the rock face. This narrow corridor, often considered one of the most beautiful sites on the Peninsula, leads to the wintering grounds of Commander Charcot, a mecca for French polar exploration.

• Weddell Sea Famous for its dense pack ice and impressive tabular icebergs, veritable cathedrals of ice. We will sail offshore to observe these blue giants, remnants of ice caps fracturing towards the ocean.
