Full board on board. Today, we wake up in Dürnstein, a charming town in the heart of the winding... more+ Wachau Valley, with its medieval castle. From the quay, you can walk directly to the historic town center through the medieval gates to Prangerplatz. From there, you have a magnificent view of the castle ruins, famous for being the place where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned. Don't miss the opportunity to taste the typical wines of the Wachau region. At noon, we leave Dürnstein to enjoy the scenery of the beautiful Wachau Valley. In the early afternoon, we dock at Melk, a small town in the heart of the impressive Wachau Valley. It is world-famous for its Benedictine abbey perched on top of a rock overlooking the river (optional visit). At the end of the afternoon, the boat will leave Melk and sail towards Linz. Overnight on board.
