In the afternoon, enjoy the city at your own pace, or take part in another wonderful optional excursion to Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Austrian Imperial Household and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening, the ship leaves the Austrian capital and sails for Melk. Overnight on board.

Vienne Dürnstein Melk
Full board on the side of the boat. Today, we wake up in Dürnstein, a charming town in the heart... see+ of the winding Wachau Valley, with its medieval castle. From the quay, you can walk directly to the historic town center through the medieval gates to Prangerplatz. From there, you have a magnificent view of the castle ruins, famous for being the place where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned. Don't miss the opportunity to taste the typical wines of the Wachau region. At noon, we leave Dürnstein to enjoy the scenery of the beautiful Wachau Valley. In the early afternoon, we berth at Melk, a small town in the heart of the impressive Wachau Valley. It is world-famous for its Benedictine abbey perched on top of a rock overlooking the river (optional visit). At the end of the afternoon, the boat will leave Melk and sail towards Linz. Overnight on the side of the boat.

After breakfast, we will arrive in Budapest, the capital of... see+ Hungary, divided into two parts by the mighty Danube: traditional "Buda" and cosmopolitan "Pest." Our optional guided tour will take you along wide boulevards to the famous Parliament, the Opera House, Heroes' Square, Market Square, Chain Bridge, and Fisherman's Bastion with its spectacular view of the city. Budapest is not to be missed at night, when the city is decked out in its finest attire. Discover it at your own pace. Overnight stop. Night on the side of the boat.
