Private yacht charters to the four corners of the world

Last updated on 8 April 2025

Fancy a luxurious vacation in the sun on the side of a sailboat? Whether you're with family, friends or your significant other, you've come to the right place! Filovent offers private yacht charters with a crew for a luxurious and unique experience!

In the end, the yacht charter with crew is like a floating five-star hotel, just for you!

What types of boats are available for a private yacht charter?

We offer several types of boats to make the most of this 100% personalized adventure: sailing catamarans or power catamarans. Both types of boat meet common demands such as space, comfort and stability. The difference will depend on your sailing preferences.

  • The sailing catamaran, in addition to being more responsible for the planet, offers a calmer cruise, without engine noise. Moreover, this type of navigation allows you to experience authentic sailing. What could be better than a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy an aperitif at sunset?
  • The power catamaran offers the same luxury but will, of course, be a little noisier. The comfort is still ideal for a relaxing vacation since the noise level of modern engines is relatively low, especially on high-end models. It allows for faster navigation and access to certain destinations. If you can't wait to see the corners of paradise that the cruise has in store for you, this is the ideal option!
  • The gulet guarantees an authentic and charming cruise. This wooden boat, typical of the Mediterranean and especially Turkey, combines elegance and comfort. Its traditional sailing trim and peaceful navigation make it an ideal option for discovering picturesque coasts and anchorages, while enjoying a convivial space on board. With its cozy cabins and spacious wooden decks, the gulet is perfect for a relaxing cruise and cultural immersion.
  • The yacht is the ultimate luxury experience at sea. Faster and more modern, it allows you to sail freely without the constraints of the wind and to explore several destinations in a short time. Equipped with every imaginable comfort: spacious cabins, top-of-the-range equipment, jacuzzi, dedicated crew, it guarantees an exclusive and tailor-made cruise. Whether for a romantic getaway or a trip with friends, the yacht embodies elegance and sophistication at sea.

What services are offered during a private yacht charter?

A crew at the side of the boat is a bit like having a magic wand at sea: everything is taken care of while you enjoy your cocktail in the sun. Need a tasty meal? It's ready. Smooth sailing? Managed. A good recommendation for the best swimming spot? They know all the secrets! In short, with a crew, your only mission will be to sunbathe, sip and savor every moment. Not a bad program, is it?

At your side of the boat, a team will take care of everything to ensure that your vacation is relaxing and enjoyable!

  • Skipper: Thanks to his experience and nautical knowledge, he ensures pleasant and safe trips, whatever the state of the sea. A good skipper is also a wealth of knowledge about the region! Depending on what you want to do, he will help you discover secret coves and heavenly beaches, often inaccessible otherwise. Fancy dinner in a traditional restaurant at the side of the boat? He knows the best places, far from the tourist traps! Depending on your preferences, he can share the basics of navigation with you! Curious to learn how to steer or hoist a sail? He will be happy to initiate you! And for sea enthusiasts, he can tell you some maritime stories and anecdotes that will add a touch of adventure to your cruise.
  • Host(ess): The person who makes your cruise a smooth and serene experience, ensuring your comfort and the organization of daily life on board. Their role is to make sure that everything is impeccable, so that you only have one mission: to enjoy yourself! Your living space is always neat and pleasant: tidy cabins, clean towels, well-kept common areas... And for even more peace of mind, two meals a day are prepared for you. No need to worry about the menu: the host(ess) takes care of everything, from shopping to serving, so that you only have to enjoy every moment. A real floating cocoon, perfect for relaxing after a day at sea.
  • Chef: Having a chef for your cruise will also allow you to satisfy your culinary desires, even the craziest ones. Feel free to tell the chef what you like or don't like, if you have any intolerances or allergies, so that he or she can prepare tasty little dishes for you, from breakfast to dinner, that you will enjoy. Made using fresh, high-quality products, they will delight young and old alike throughout your vacation.
  • Nautical equipment: Yacht charter with crew has the advantage of having all the necessary equipment, fully adaptable to all types of needs. Depending on the type of boat you rent, you can enjoy multiple benefits such as: water-jet-powered motorized craft, water skis, kayak, paddle, diving and fishing equipment.

The best cruising destinations: where to go and the best dates to get there?

The Caribbean:

Sail between paradise islands with crystal clear waters such as the Bahamas or the Grenadines. Enjoy dream beaches, exceptional diving spots and a warm atmosphere, between coconut palms and colorful villages.

When to go: The Caribbean enjoys a pleasant climate all year round, with only a few wetter seasons, which are nevertheless conducive to discovery and relaxation.

The Indian Ocean:

Set a course for the Seychelles, the Maldives or Mauritius, to dive into the heart of a crystalline lagoon and coral reefs that offer an idyllic setting. Perfect for a relaxing cruise between deserted beaches, snorkeling and tropical landscapes.

When to go: The countries of the Indian Ocean, such as the Maldives, the Seychelles and Mauritius, share a tropical climate similar to that of the Caribbean, with warm temperatures all year round, a sunny dry season and a wet season marked by a few showers, but always conducive to getting away from it all.

The Pacific:

From French Polynesia to the Fiji Islands, the Pacific is an invitation to travel between swimming in translucent waters, lush mountains and Polynesian traditions. A cruise here is a real getaway out of time.

When to go: May to October is the ideal time to escape to the Pacific, with a drier climate, pleasant temperatures and calm seas, perfect for sailing and water sports.

The Mediterranean:

Discover a perfect blend of history, culture and sumptuous landscapes. Whether it's the French Riviera and its hidden coves, Corsica and its wild beaches, Greece and its mythical islands, or Croatia and its crystal-clear waters, each port of call promises you a new wonder.

When to go: In Europe, whatever the destination, summer is the ideal time to enjoy pleasant temperatures, bright sunshine and warm seas, perfect for a summer cruise.

Northern Europe:

Marvel at the spectacular scenery of dizzying cliffs, waterfalls and picturesque villages nestled in the Norwegian fjords. A cruise here is a total immersion in raw and grandiose nature.

When to go: It all depends on what you want to do there. Let us explain!

If you want to admire the grandiose landscapes of the Far North, especially the Northern Lights, plan your trip between September and March, and be prepared for cold temperatures. On the other hand, to enjoy the unique experience of the midnight sun, the ideal months are between May and July.

Australia:

Explore the incredible waters of the Great Barrier Reef, a diving paradise, or venture into the wilderness where red cliffs, secret rivers and saltwater crocodiles create a unique setting.

When to go: It is difficult to set ideal dates for visiting Australia because of its huge size and the diversity of its climates. However, Filovent can still help you.

- Northern Australia: Fancy exploring Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory? Visit during the summer to enjoy the climate and strolls through the heart of the city.

- Western Australia: If you dream of heavenly beaches and pleasant temperatures, go in November or December, the perfect months to enjoy the coastline in the sun.

- South Australia: Want to combine whale watching, hiking and diving in a single adventure? The south offers it to you in abundance from September to February.

- Eastern Australia: Do you dream of having the ultimate Australian experience and challenging those legendary waves, both feared and adored by surfers from all over the world? Embark from November to February to make the most of it

Costa Rica:

Between the San Blas Islands, an unspoiled jewel with virgin beaches, and the Pacific coast, rich in marine biodiversity, Panama is an ideal destination for a cruise combining wilderness, indigenous culture and isolated anchorages.

When to go: The best time to go to Panama is from January to April, during the dry season, when the climate is sunny with very little rain. The sea is warm (27 to 28°C), ideal for the beach, diving and surfing.

On the other hand, to observe the wildlife, especially the whales and quetzals, the period from June to October can also be a good option, despite the weather being more humid but still with good temperatures.
