The must-sees in Southern Africa
South Africa: Saint Lucia, between ocean and savannah
It's one of the most amazing places I've ever discovered! In Saint Lucia, you can sail between mangroves and estuaries populated by hippopotamuses on the side of the boat, while being just a stone's throw from the beaches of the Indian Ocean. This small town is nestled in the heart of the iSimangaliso National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You may even come across zebras or buffaloes while strolling through town. A day is enough to go from the savannah to the ocean, with your feet in the water.
Zambia: Victoria Falls, a life-size spectacle
It's impossible to remain unmoved by this marvel! On the Zambian side, the Victoria Falls offer spectacular panoramas and a feeling of raw power. If you feel like an adventurer, try Devil's Pool: a natural lake suspended just on the side of the boat. Thrills guaranteed!
Botswana: Okavango Delta, water in the heart of the desert
A real treasure, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. No engines here: you can drift in a mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) through a labyrinth of channels, among the reeds, with elephants and antelopes as your only neighbors. A moment suspended in time, calm and magical, in the heart of a preserved park where each day is lived to the rhythm of nature.
