Our story
It all started in 1992 with a student who was passionate about sailing, Philippe Brunet. After creating the Nautical Club of Paris X-Nanterre and renting Hobie Cats on a Breton beach in summer, he decided to start renting sailing boats after his studies. Filovent was born! After the seas and oceans, fresh water! In continuity the company RiverandBoat was founded, specialised in river cruising in boats without a boating licence, on the canals and rivers of France and Europe.
Since 1995, the company has been connecting customers wishing to sail with ship rental companies wishing to fill their booking schedule. Today Filovent has the largest catalogue in Europe with 18,000 boats referenced from many destinations (France, Croatia, Greece, the West Indies...). In 2019, we took more than 15,000 people on-board sailing boats, catamarans, motor yachts...

Philippe Brunet - Associate Director
Philippe is 42, and a father of 4; he is the founder and Associate Director of Filovent, European leader in rental of pleasure boats since 1995. He created Proxisailing, a company that developed a GDS in the field of boating. He holds a post-graduate diploma in business management from the IAE in Paris.
François Lillet - Sales Manager
After starting his career in finance at BNP Paribas and then in the strategic management of Engie, François chose to set sail and join Filovent in Barcelona, in line with his taste for the sea and boats. He is a graduate of the HEC in Paris.
Philippe Casassa - Administrative and Financial Manager
After 2 years of preparatory classes, Philippe entered EDHEC. Philippe joined the Filovent team in 2020 to take care of the company's financial and administrative missions.
Guillaume Hue - Product Manager
After 5 years in retail as a store manager, Guillaume joined the Filovent team in 2012 and since then has been making sure that every visitor can easily find their boat at the best price on our website.
Mickaël Coudert - Marketing Manager
A graduate of the HEC in Paris, Mickaël began his career in corporate finance before joining Filovent as Marketing Manager.
Jérôme Raffalli - IT Manager
Jérôme is the IT Manager, he is as modest as he is brilliant; he started programming at the age of 12, and was a business manager for 18 years at Atos Origin where he learned how to create IT systems to serve the customer.
