Want to escape to the other end of the world on your next vacation? Set sail for the Caribbean and board a luxurious catamaran for an all-inclusive cruise in Martinique. We take care of everything. Professional staff will be present at the side of the boat to skipper it, take care of the preparation of meals and clean the communal areas. The only thing you will have to do is enjoy yourself!
Let us guide you and discover the riches of the Isle of Flowers and its heavenly landscapes such as the Sugarloaf Mountain or the Bathtub of Josephine. Between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, Martinique lies between Dominica and Saint Lucia, and has plenty of surprises in store for you. During your cabin cruise, you will have the opportunity to discover typical Caribbean architecture and, of course, to sample local culinary specialties: cod or shrimp fritters, smoked chicken or even doucelettes!
Numerous stopovers and splendid anchorages await you on your catamaran cruise in Martinique. What's more, the sailing conditions are favorable thanks to the regularity of the trade winds. "We had wind every day, blowing at between 15 and 30 knots," says Matthieu Deperraz, a Filovent customer who set off in December. "Thanks to that, we made good progress!" he continues .

discovering Anse Noire
There will be no shortage of beautiful, heavenly beaches during your catamaran cruise in Martinique! Anse Noire is a small beach located in the south of the island. Its black sand of volcanic origin makes it special and unique. You will quickly fall under the spell of this cove, with its tall coconut palms and turquoise water, where a small pontoon juts out from which you can watch the fish. From the top of the majestic cliffs that surround it, the bravest can make memorable jumps! In the exceptional tropical vegetation, this little-known wild beach is a true haven of peace that will give you the impression of being alone in the world.
Salines beach
This beautiful, heavenly beach is without doubt one of the best known in Martinique. Located in the village of Sainte-Anne, its golden sand, turquoise water and majestic palm trees give it a picture-postcard feel. Filovent advises you to go there during the week to escape the tourist crowds. Matthieu Deperraz, a Filovent customer who went away for Christmas with his family, confirms this: "We went to Les Salines, in Sainte Anne. It was very busy, but we expected that! As there's plenty of room, it wasn't that bad." He then adds cheerfully in the masthead "Once back on the boat, the dolphins came to swim with us on the last evening, it was really nice!"

All roads lead to … rum!
After lazing around, a visit to a rum distillery is a must. This delicious Martinican nectar is appreciated all over the world. In Martinique, rum can be agricultural or traditional. Located in the northwest of the island, the Depaz distillery is without doubt one of the most beautiful on the island! A little history to start the visit, which will continue with a tour of the factory and the rum distillation process. This drink will no longer hold any secrets for you. The excursion will end on a high note with the unmissable tasting… in moderation!
Saint-Pierre
In the northwest of Martinique, Saint Pierre is located on the coast just above Fort-de-France and offers a superb view of Mount Pelée. In 1902, the latter erupted and destroyed the entire city, killing all of its 26,000 inhabitants, with the exception of one prisoner, Louis-Auguste Cyparis. Crazy, isn't it? During your stopover, take a stroll through this city rebuilt on the ruins and visit the Notre Dame de l'Assomption cathedral. Take a walk around the market square and take the opportunity to buy delicious, colorful exotic fruits! For the more adventurous, it is possible to veer into scuba diving on the shipwrecks of Saint-Pierre bay (a minimum level 2 is required).
"Saint Pierre was great. 500 meters away is Anse Latouche, there's hardly any seabed there, so it's a great place for anchored boats," says Matthieu Deperraz, a Filovent customer. "We cross over and arrive at the superb Martinique Zoo!" he continues cheerfully in the masthead!
The Balata Botanical Garden
Not far from Saint-Pierre is the Jardin de Balata, a large botanical garden located 10 km north of Fort-de-France. Built in 1982 on the property of Jean-Philippe Thoze, a passionate horticulturist, this park is home to close to 200 species of tropical plants from all over the world, as well as ponds with lotus flowers and water lilies. Admission is 14 euros for adults and 8 euros for children aged 3 to 12, but it's really worth spending an afternoon there.
Give in to its charm on a peaceful walk accompanied by the song of hummingbirds. Take to the heights and spend part of your walk in the air! Take the suspension bridge route at a height of over 15 meters. A unique and exceptional panorama of the bay of Martinique will then be offered to you from the monkey decks. For those who suffer from vertigo, don't worry, the garden is full of benches where you can rest and admire this lush nature!

Rent a catamaran with crew from Martinique
Located in the heart of the Lesser Antilles, Martinique and its port of Le Marin are an ideal point of departure for a catamaran charter with a skipper. You can take advantage of the many ports of call and corners of paradise on the island and then set sail for the Caribbean for an unforgettable cruise.
The catamaran: the ideal companion for a cruise in Martinique!
Martinique is very easy to get to by plane, and you can find direct and cheap flights during the dry season from December to May. This period is particularly favorable for sailing because it marks the end of the rainy and hurricane season in Martinique. The temperatures are pleasant and the trade winds propel the catamaran into its favorite sailing trim.
The catamaran is the king of the tropics. The living space on board and its stability at anchorages make it a great ally for a successful cruise. A catamaran charter with a skipper in Martinique will allow you to take the time to visit the surrounding islands without sacrificing comfort on board while sailing. On the other hand, the catamaran's shallow draft makes it easier to approach the coast and allows it to navigate in shallower waters, inaccessible to a monohull. During a long stay in The Caribbean, where you spend a large part of the day on your boat, the catamaran is a must.
Among the most successful models for a catamaran charter with a skipper in Martinique is the Lagoon. These models are particularly comfortable and spacious. Consult our catalog to find the right catamaran for you.
The advantages of a charter with crew
If you want to organize an all-inclusive cruise in Martinique, we recommend that you opt for a cruise with a crew. The crew will prepare your sailing itinerary according to your wishes and will take care of the maneuvers from the side of the boat. His knowledge of the sailing areas and the weather conditions will enable you to take full advantage of your cruise program in The Caribbean. If you are chartering a catamaran with your family, the skipper will recommend the best diving areas and the most beautiful beaches in Martinique.
The assistance of a skipper will also facilitate catamaran charters from Martinique to the Grenadines. In order to fully appreciate the crossing, the assistance of a skipper or even a hostess is very useful. This very popular sailing itinerary requires more than a week of sailing and you will appreciate the additional comfort provided by the presence of a hostess on the catamaran who will take care of preparing the meals.
