Book your next cruise and take advantage of our offers

Last updated on 8 April 2025

Have you always dreamed of setting sail on a cruise to discover the most beautiful anchorages on a luxury boat? However, you have no nautical experience, renting an entire boat with a skipper seems too expensive, and there is no question of you setting foot on a liner with 2000 tourists. Then what you need, without a doubt, is to book a cabin cruise on a sailboat or catamaran for an exceptional sailing experience.

Set off to discover our many destinations: The Seychelles, The Caribbean, Greece, Croatia or simply the South of France. Cabin cruises are a new trend with many advantages: reasonable budget, no organization to plan, all-inclusive, on a magnificent sailboat... Let us tell you a little more!

What types of boat can you go on a cabin cruise on?

  • Catamaran cruise:  The catamarans used for our cruises are very beautiful models: mainly Lagoon or Ipanema. Catamarans are spacious and comfortable boats that offer a superb sailing experience, even for those who are not used to being at sea. You have a cabin with a private bathroom, a living room with a kitchen, a cockpit with a dining table and a trampoline with a sunbathing mattress. You will experience a friendly human adventure, with a professional and friendly crew, who will share their passion for the sea and sailing with you.
  • Yacht cruise: You will sail on board a yacht (approx. 50 m), with very spacious communal living areas, both inside and out, sunbathing mattresses for lying down and private cabins, each with their own bathroom. No need to choose between privacy and conviviality! In addition to great comfort and time to yourself, you can get together with other passengers for meals taken on board.
  • Dahabieh cruise: Dahabiehs are traditional Egyptian sailing boats. Dahabieh cruises are therefore specific to Egypt.

What services are offered on a cabin cruise?

  • A skipper, who is responsible for the boat and navigation. A true expert of the region, he will suggest the ideal sailing itinerary to help you discover the best spots.
  • A hostess will be at your service, taking care of supplies and keeping the boat clean throughout the cruise.
  • A chef who will prepare delicious dishes and culinary specialties for you every day, each one tastier than the last. All our cabin cruises are full board, an opportunity to taste local specialties, and why not try a fish caught that very morning.
  • Nautical equipment: Masks, snorkels and flippers will be available for use on the boat so that young and old alike can try their hand at snorkeling and observe the underwater life. On some cruises, you will have the opportunity to find sea kayaks and paddle boards on the side of the boat. Set off on an adventure and sail to places that are inaccessible from your sailboat, such as isolated coves.
  • Sheets and towels will be provided in your cabins, and you can also make use of the beach towels.

In which destinations is it possible to take a cabin cruise?

  • Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia): Several cabin cruises are available in Asia. You can set off for Thailand on board beautiful catamarans to discover the country's most beautiful islands. Filovent also offers cruises on the Mekong between Vietnam and Cambodia on board traditional vessels.
  • The Caribbean and The West Indies: Filovent offers a wide range of catamaran cruises in the Caribbean and The West Indies. You can set off to discover Martinique and the Grenadines, explore the British Virgin Islands, Guadeloupe, Saint Martin or the Bahamas.
  • Egypt: Filovent offers numerous cruises on the Nile. These take place on board a Dahabieh, a traditional Egyptian sailing boat. These cruises are very popular with our customers because they are an ideal and comfortable way to discover the country from the waters of the Nile. In the space of a few days, you will have the opportunity to explore iconic sites such as the Pyramids of Giza, the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Edfu while enjoying a unique cruise. By choosing the package that suits you best, you can have the experience that suits you with a high-quality service.
  • The Mediterranean (Greece, Italy, Croatia, Spain, Corsica): For a first cabin cruise experience, you can opt for a trip to the Mediterranean. Filovent offers a wide range of cruises on board luxurious catamarans in the Mediterranean. For example, you can set course for Corsica, where your skipper will help you discover the most beautiful anchorages on the Isle of Beauty for an unforgettable stay.
  • Indian Ocean (Seychelles, Maldives): Filovent offers numerous cruises in the Seychelles. You can choose to explore the archipelago on board a beautiful catamaran or a large yacht. Cabin cruises are also available in the Maldives on board a catamaran or a traditional sailing boat.
  • Polynesia: Filovent also offers cabin cruises in Polynesia on board luxurious catamarans. Sailing itineraries in Polynesia are carefully designed for an intimate yet social trip.

How much does a cabin cruise cost?

  • Cabin cruise in Egypt: From 1512 USD per person excluding the Christmas holidays and from 1890 USD per person during the Christmas holidays for a standard double cabin.
  • Cabin cruise to exotic destinations: From 1152 USD per person in low season (July, August) and from 1248 USD per person in high season (December, January, February) for a standard double cabin.
  • Cabin cruise in the Mediterranean: From 812 USD per person in low season (October, November) and from 1960 USD per person in high season (June, July, August) for a standard double cabin.
  • Cabin cruise in Asia: From 1929 USD per person in low season (April to August) and from 2332 USD per person in high season (December, January, February) for a standard double cabin.

What is included in the price:

  • Full board
  • Drinks included in full board
  • Water sports equipment
  • Sheets, towels, beach towels
  • Boat and passenger insurance
  • Accommodation in air-conditioned double cabin with private bathroom

What is not included in the price:

  • Additional drinks not included in the supplementary board
  • Optional excursions
  • Special allergy diet
  • Meals not included in the program
  • The onboard kitty: a common fund used to cover the various taxes and anchorage fees specific to each destination. The amount therefore varies depending on the cabin cruise you have chosen.
  • Flights and transfers

Who is the cabin cruise aimed at?

This formula is ideal for couples, pairs of friends or even small groups who can rent several cabins on the same boat. It is less financially attractive for single people, but they are welcome.

Cabin cruises are open to everyone. You don't need to be an expert to set sail! If you're looking for a new way to travel while exploring the seas, don't wait any longer and book your cabin cruise. It's the perfect compromise for discovering the charms of cruising without worrying about sailing itineraries, manoeuvres or meals.

This style of travel is not just for novices, quite the contrary. Are you an experienced sailor and want to spend a week sailing without having to manage everything on your own? The crew will be at your service, and all you have to do is enjoy yourself, like everyone else!

Be warned, you will be with strangers on board. If you are not comfortable with this, this travel option will not suit you and you may not fully enjoy your experience.

As you will have realized, you are made for cabin cruises if you are:

  • Sociable and friendly
  • Outgoing and open-minded
  • Adventurous and curious
