Esna El Hegz
Transfer from Luxor airport or hotel to Esna (approximately 45 minutes' drive). Check in on the... more+ boat at 9 a.m. with a welcome drink, briefing on the boat, and check into your cabin. Then, you will take an excursion to Esna and the ancient Egyptian temple of Khnum. Back on the boat, you will sail to the village of Al Hegz, having lunch en route. Before dinner, we will visit the village, where you can get a glimpse of traditional Egyptian life. You will see how the fields are cultivated, the women bake bread, and the village elders play dominoes and smoke shisha. Overnight in Al Hegz.

El Hegz Edfu Gebel el-Silsila
On your way to Edfu, you enjoy breakfast on the sun deck. Edfu is an Upper Egyptian city on the... more+ western bank of the Nile about 85 kilometers south of Luxor and 100 kilometers north of Aswan. Lunch awaits you on board. Your route takes you to the Island of Bissa, where you can admire small fishing boats, old houses and farms with farm animals. Afterwards you head for Gabal as-Silsila and can enjoy the beautiful view of the banks of the Nile. Once in Gabal as-Silsila, we enjoy dinner in front of the breathtaking scenery of the illuminated temple Horemheb. Overnight stay in Gabal as-Silsila.

Afterwards you will spend the night at Bashir Island.

Beshir Kom Ombo Aswan
After breakfast, make your way to Kom Ombo. After visiting the temples and the small museum with... more+ its mummified crocodiles, a testimony to the importance these animals had here in ancient times, we return to the ship for lunch. You will sail further towards Alherdiab beach for extensive swimming, sunbathing and walking. During dinner the “Queeny” heads for its destination just before Aswan, where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, another highlight follows with a visit to the Temple of Philae (Isis Temple),... more+ praised as the “Pearl of the Nile” and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. On the way back to the “Queeny” there is a possibility to visit the new dam and the unfinished obelisk. After lunch you will be spoilt for choice as Aswan has much to offer. In the evening there will be a cheerful farewell party on the “Queeny”, lovingly prepared and carried out by the crew, before you spend a last night on board.

This trip is not suitable for people with reduced mobility
Dahabiehs are traditional sailing boats that navigate primarily under sail. When wind conditions do not permit it, or on certain stretches of the Nile, the boat may be towed at a distance (approximately 30 m) by a small tugboat, as dahabiehs do not have engines
