Luxor Esna
Our guide will accompany you in an air-conditioned vehicle to visit the East Bank of Luxor, home to... more+ the fabulous Karnak temple complex, the largest religious complex ever built, dedicated to the Theban triad headed by the god Amun-Ra. You will visit the Valley of the Kings, where you will find the tombs of many New Kingdom pharaohs, as well as their families and nobles in their favour. The tour continues with the Colossi of Memnon, the last remains of the temple of Amenhotep III and Deir el Bahari, as well as the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. After the visits, you will return to your cruise. Your guide will accompany you in an air-conditioned vehicle to your cruise Dahabieh in Esna, where you will check in at midday.

After breakfast on board, you will sail to Edfu. On arrival, you will be transferred to the Temple... more+ of Horus further inland. This sanctuary of the falcon god Horus is both the largest temple of the Ptolemy dynasty and the second largest in Egypt after Karnak. Inside, the intact paintings, inscriptions and reliefs make it the best-preserved temple in Egypt. After your visit, you will return to the boat for lunch and continue your cruise to Bassaw Island, where the boat will stop for the night. Enjoy a free stroll around the island and dinner on the shore.

Bassaw Gebel el-Silsila Kom Ombo Aswan
After breakfast on board, you will depart for a visit to Gebel Silsileh, both an archaeological... more+ site and Egypt's largest sandstone quarry. Placed under the protection of the god Hapy, this quarry provided the sandstone for almost all the temples in Upper Egypt. On the west bank of the river is a sanctuary carved into the rock, dedicated to the god Horemheb and seven other deities, including the local god Sobek. Enjoy lunch on board before continuing the cruise to Kom Ombo. Dedicated to two deities, Sobek the crocodile to the south and Horus the falcon to the north, the temple has a perfectly symmetrical architecture. Erected on a hill by three Ptolemies, the Kom Ombo complex is surrounded by an enclosing wall covered in carvings. Return to the boat to continue up the river to Aswan for dinner.

Begun by the pharaoh Nectanebo I during the 30th dynasty and completed by the Romans, it is the main sanctuary dedicated to Isis.
