Your journey through Egypt’s ancient past begins with a visit to Saqqara, the vast necropolis of... more+ ancient Memphis. Explore the iconic Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s first monumental stone building. Continue to the Pyramid of Titi, known for its pyramid texts, and explore the Nobles' tombs, richly decorated with scenes of daily life. Next, head south to Dahshur, where pyramid architecture took dramatic new shapes. Visit the fascinating Bent Pyramid, with its unique angles, and the Red Pyramid, considered the first true smooth-sided pyramid and predecessor to those at Giza. Pause for lunch at a local restaurant in Saqqara, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Egyptian meal—typically a delicious mix grill with kofta, kebab, and a variety of small appetizer dishes. In the afternoon, arrive at the legendary Giza Plateau. Stand in awe before the Great Pyramid of Khufu, gaze up at the Sphinx, and visit the pyramids of Khafre (Khara) and Menkaure. Explore the tombs of Giza’s nobles, where colorful scenes reveal glimpses of ancient Egyptian life.

The afternoon will be devoted to discovering Coptic Cairo, with a visit to the remarkable Hanging Church and the Abu Serga Church, built over the grotto where the Holy Family is said to have taken refuge. Early departure for a trip across the desert to Abu Simbel (approx. 3 to 4 hours' drive). There,... more+ you will discover the impressive temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, carved into the cliffs on the shores of Lake Nasser - a must-see World Heritage site. After the visit, return to Aswan in the late morning. In the afternoon, board your dahabieh, a traditional sailing boat, to begin your cruise on the Nile. Lunch on board, then a leisurely sail to Daraw, where the boat drops anchor for the night. Dinner and overnight on board the dahabieh.

Then on to the temple of Kom Ombo, a unique temple dedicated to two deities: Sobek the crocodile and Horus the falcon. Lunch on board as we sail to Gebel el-Silsila, an ancient sandstone quarry and rock sanctuaries dating back to the New Kingdom. The day ends near Bassaw Island, where you will enjoy a barbecue dinner under the moon, in a peaceful setting along the Nile. Overnight aboard the dahabieh.

Esna is part of the governorate of Luxor, so it takes around an hour to get back to the city of the pharaohs. Check-in at the hotel in Luxor, before setting off on a fascinating tour of two jewels of ancient Egypt: Karnak Temple, a veritable temple-city dedicated to Amun. along the beach, the Marina, the old town, the market and the fish market. A fun option is to use bicycles for this tour. The
tour duration is 3-4 hours.
- Full day of private snorkelling tour using a private sailboat. Hurghada is famous for its reefs and beautiful underwater
scenery. In this tour you board a sailboat (which has an engine in the case of no wind) and sail to different Islands and
reefs where you can snorkel. The tour duration is 6-7 hours. Cooking equipment is available. You can buy your lunch and
cook it on board. Snorkelling equipment is included.
- Full day snorkelling tour (group tour). Hurghada is famous for its reefs and beautiful underwater sceneries. In this tour
you board a yacht and sail to Islands and reefs where you can snorkel. This includes lunch and snorkelling equipment. The
tour duration is 6-7 hours, and starts around 9am.
- Full day paradise Island (group tour). If you would like to relax and have access to the water at a beautiful beach to
swim and snorkel, Paradise Island would be a good option. Includes lunch and Snorkeling equipment. The tour duration is
6-7 hours, and starts around 9am.
- Desert Safari in Hurghada (group tour)
In this tour you explore the desert near Hurghada using Quad bikes. It’s great fun and adventure. You visit a Bedouin camp and have dinner while watching a folk show. The tour duration is about 6 hours, starting at around 2pm. Overnight Safari is also available for extra charge.
- Swim with the Dolphins (group tour). In the sea not in a swimming pool. It’s a day tour in a boat with lunch included. The chances of finding friendly Dolphins and swimming with them is quite high.
Scuba diving tours are available when requested. If you are not a licensed diver, you can do a diving introduction at a safe depth with instructor.
