Embarkation & start sailing 02:00 p.m. Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit Kom Ombo where we explore the... more+ exceptional beautiful temple of Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and Sobek (Crocodile God). The temple was built with two symmetric entrances, halls and sanctuaries; it is the only double temple all over Egypt.Continue sailing while Dinner to Edfu Dinner and Overnight close to Edfu.

Cruise to Edfu during breakfast. Visit the Temple of Edfu, followed by a horse-drawn carriage ride... more+ through the village to the magnificent Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s largest and best-preserved monuments (alternative transportation available upon request). Two beautiful granite statues of the falcon god Horus flank the entrance, then we continue our day’s cruise and discover along the way the simple life of farmers and fishermen, the picturesque and magical scenery along the Nile, and the lush, fertile landscapes with fields of sugarcane, banana trees, and date palms. The rest of the day is spent cruising to Luxor, passing through the Esna Lock. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor on the west bank.

Dahabiehs are traditional sailing boats that navigate primarily under sail. When wind conditions do not permit it, or on certain stretches of the Nile, the boat may be towed at a distance (approximately 30 m) by a small tugboat, as dahabiehs do not have engines
