After breakfast, we’ll head to Luxor to visit the East Bank and the West Bank:

- Karnak... more+ Temple: This religious complex, the largest of ancient times, is dedicated to the Theban triad and primarily to the god Amun-Re. Its spectacular Hypostyle Hall, composed of 134 giant columns, immerses visitors in a mystical and grandiose atmosphere. Each dynasty has left its mark here, making this site a veritable open-air history book.

- The Valley of the Kings: This legendary site houses the hidden tombs of the greatest pharaohs of the New Kingdom, carved into the heart of the Theban mountains. The royal tombs reveal reliefs of exceptional finesse and remarkably well-preserved original colors. Notably, it contains the tombs of legendary rulers such as Ramses II and Tutankhamun.

- The Temple of Medinet Habu: This funerary temple, built by Ramses III, is one of the most massive and best-preserved monuments in Egypt. Its exterior walls are adorned with impressive bas-reliefs depicting the pharaoh’s military victories against the Sea Peoples. The vibrancy of its original colors and the richness of its engravings make it an architectural masterpiece not to be missed.

Return to the boat for lunch, then set sail. Dinner and overnight stay aboard in the village of El Hegz.

Maniha Kom Ombo Aswan
Breakfast on board, followed by a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo. This unique monument is... more+ distinguished by its dual, perfectly symmetrical architecture, dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroëris, the falcon god. It houses rare reliefs depicting ancient surgical instruments, bearing witness to the medical knowledge of the time. The site also includes a museum dedicated to the crocodile mummies discovered in the surrounding area.

The cruise continues with lunch served on board. The afternoon is dedicated to a visit to the Temple of Philae. Nicknamed “the Pearl of Egypt,” this sanctuary dedicated to the goddess Isis stands on an island in the heart of the Nile. Saved from the waters thanks to an international campaign by UNESCO, it charms visitors with the elegance of its colonnades and the beauty of its natural setting. It is one of the last places where hieroglyphs were used before they fell into disuse.

Dahabiehs are traditional sailing boats that navigate primarily under sail. When wind conditions do not permit it, or on certain stretches of the Nile, the boat may be towed at a distance (approximately 30 m) by a small tugboat, as dahabiehs do not have engines
