Le Havre Les Andelys Vernon Poissy
Les Andelys is a commune in France, located in the Normandy region. The town is divided into a... more+ large and a small part (Le Petit Andely and Le Grand Andely). The small part is located directly on the banks of the Seine. The northern character of the country is also reflected in the architecture of the commune. This can be seen, for example, in the 13th-century Notre-Dame Cathedral. The Tolysland amusement park is popular with young and old alike.
Halfway between Paris and Rouen lies Vernon. Numerous half-timbered houses characterize the urban landscape. The most famous one appears during a walk on the Clémenceau bridge: the Vieux Moulin, perched gracefully on the remains of a medieval bridge. Claude Monet was so fascinated by the view of Vernon that he immortalized it on canvas. But that's not all: for more than 40 years, the artist lived not far from there in a house surrounded by a magnificent garden. What once inspired Monet to create world-famous works is now a paradise for flower lovers and those seeking relaxation.
