Located right in the historic heart of the city, next to the Place de la Mairie and the Cathedral, the Freiburg Christmas market plunges you into a unique world, with the cloister of the Cordeliers convent, the Church of St. Martin and the colorful facades of the two town halls all around. More than a hundred stalls and chalets line the squares of the old town: you'll be amazed by the incredible diversity of the region's traditional arts and crafts.

Immerse yourself in a timeless universe and discover France's largest open-air museum. Rediscover Alsatian traditions of yesteryear through family heirlooms, the scent of waxed floors, fir trees, etc. Explore the grand alley with its shimmering lights. Here, houses are adorned with plant ornaments, sound elements and fairy lights... Lunch in a restaurant. Continuation to Colmar. Let yourself be seduced by the warm, intimate atmosphere of this city of art and history, whose exceptional heritage serves as a backdrop for the festivities. Everywhere you look, you'll see decorated windows and houses, a succession of lively streets and alleys, with the scent of oranges and cinnamon. As night falls, a subtle play of light underscores the countless architectural treasures dating from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. A sublime trail of lights leads the visitor to discover the five Christmas markets, each nestled in an idyllic setting and each with its own unique identity.
