In the morning, guided tour of Reims. The city is famous for its renowned cathedral, the... more+ traditional coronation site of the kings of France, and for its Champagne wine. The tour includes Royal Square, City Hall Square, the Tau Palace (the royal residence during coronations), and the former royal Benedictine abbey of Saint-Rémi, founded in the 8th century and featuring majestic 18th-century architecture.
Then, visit the cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic art, reflecting the architectural innovations of the 13th century and the harmony between structure and sculpted decoration. The richness of its ornamentation, sculptures, and stained glass has been beautifully preserved.
Return on board and afternoon sailing towards Dormans, along the Regional Natural Park of the Montagne de Reims—a forested plateau bordered by exceptional vineyards. Since the 17th century, this land has been cultivated for the production of Champagne. The cruise continues through the heart of the Champagne vineyards. Arrival in Dormans in the evening.

Stop in Hautvillers, located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims vineyard. This charming village is known as the birthplace of Champagne. It was here, in the former Benedictine abbey of Hautvillers, that the monk Dom Pérignon discovered the method of Champagne fermentation in the 18th century. Stroll through the streets lined with winemakers’ houses and admire the wrought iron signs depicting old trades. Then, visit a renowned Champagne house followed by a tasting.
Return on board and cruise toward Château-Thierry. You’ll glimpse vineyards clinging to the hillsides. Enjoy a relaxing morning cruise along the Marne River from the sun deck and take in the gentle scenery of this region — fields, lakes, islets, and forests. Arrival in early evening.

After strolling through the narrow... more+ streets of the town center, lined with 17th- and 18th-century mansions, you will explore the remains of the medieval castle. This defensive structure overlooked the Marne River and covered over 2.5 hectares within the town. Inside the castle, you will see the Riomet Garden, inspired by medieval design, with fruit trees and medicinal and aromatic plants. At the foot of the ramparts lies the Thibaud IV Rose Garden, featuring 48 varieties of old roses. In the upper courtyard are the "royal kitchens". At the heart of the castle, you'll enjoy a bird of prey flight show, introducing the noble art of falconry.
Return on foot to the boat and set sail towards Saint-Jean-Les-Deux-Jumeaux. You’ll discover the loops of the Marne, its wild natural areas, and islands with their wetland landscapes. Enjoy these natural surroundings shaped by the river. Evening arrival.

In the afternoon, guided tour of Meaux and cheese tasting. The town retains architectural traces from various eras. You can admire remarkable public buildings, many unusual or picturesque 19th-century facades, and a few private mansions from the 17th and 18th centuries. Highlights include Saint-Étienne Cathedral, the Bishops’ Palace (now the Fine Arts Museum), Gallo-Roman ramparts, and the Bossuet Garden. Then return to the boat for a tasting of the famous Brie de Meaux. According to legend, Io, beloved of Zeus, was the mother of the cows whose milk was used to make Brie. But it was under Charlemagne, a great admirer, that Brie began its prestigious history. Return on board in Lagny-sur-Marne.
