Breisach Bormes Mainz
Full board on board. In the morning, arrival in Worms (German: Worms). Germanic peoples made Worms... more+ their capital. The city is also known for its Romanesque architecture. The highlight of the visit is St. Peter's Cathedral, dating from the 11th century. With its four twin towers and domes, this spectacular ancient building is among the finest examples of the Romanesque style, alongside the cathedrals of Speyer and Mainz. The nave is particularly impressive, reaching about 27 meters, while its domes reach a height of 40 meters. Worms is also an ideal starting point for exploring the German Wine Route (Deutsche Weinstrasse), an 80-kilometer route through the region's wine villages. Optional guided walk.

In the afternoon, we will arrive in Mainz, a city with a nearly 2,000-year historical heritage. The cathedral dominates the cityscape. In the shadow of the building, medieval Mainz unfolds, animated by its narrow, winding alleys, many small shops, and cafés surrounding the charming Kirschgarten and its half-timbered houses.
