Passau
Your journey begins in Passau, the charming "city of three rivers," where the Danube meets the Inn... more+ and Ilz rivers. Boarding is scheduled between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., giving you time to settle in and get your bearings. At 5:00 p.m., the ship will cast off and your cruise will begin, as the panorama of Passau, with its baroque church spires and pastel-colored houses, slowly recedes into the distance. The peaceful rhythm of the Danube will carry you toward new discoveries and fascinating river landscapes.

Passau Vienne
In the afternoon, the ship docks in Vienna, Austria's majestic capital city on the banks of the... more+ Danube. During the optional excursion, you will discover the contrasts between the modern face of the city and its imperial heritage. From the quay, the tour first passes through the contemporary district with the Uno-City and Danube Island, before reaching the famous Ringstrasse. Imposing buildings such as the State Opera House, the Parliament, the Hofburg, and City Hall bear witness to the former splendor of the Habsburgs' former residence.
A guided walk through the historic center then allows you to soak up Vienna's unique atmosphere and experience its famous "Wiener Schmäh," or Viennese charm. At the end of the tour, there will be some free time to stroll around or enjoy a coffee before returning to the ship, which will leave Vienna in the late afternoon.

Vienne Solt Mohács
The ship docks at Solt at 1:00 p.m. and resumes sailing at 1:30 p.m. All excursions start here and... more+ end in Mohács, where the ship arrives at 7:00 p.m. before setting sail again at 7:30 p.m. From Solt, you will set off to explore Kalocsa, Hungary's first archbishopric, renowned for its majestic cathedral and archbishop's palace, whose library houses a Bible annotated by Martin Luther. The city is also famous for its traditional crafts, including colorful embroidery and hand-painted floral motifs, as well as its sweet paprika, grown in the surrounding fields that have made it world-famous. You will then cross the great Hungarian plain, the Puszta, to a traditional farm, the csárda, where you will visit a stud farm before enjoying a horse-drawn carriage ride in the heart of the vast steppe. The csikós, horse-riding guards, will give an impressive equestrian demonstration, showcasing the ancient traditions of life in the Puszta. A snack accompanied by wine will then be served and you will have the opportunity to purchase local products such as paprika, handicrafts, and Hungarian liqueurs.
Another option takes you to Pécs, one of Hungary's most beautiful cities, nestled in the south of Transdanubia and bathed in a southern atmosphere. Voted European Capital of Culture in 2010, the city is full of architectural treasures. At the heart of its historic center lies the superb Széchenyi Square and its plague column. During the guided tour, you will discover the basilica and the former Ottoman mosque, now a church, where the original elements have been subtly integrated into the Christian architecture. The famous Zsolnay fountain, decorated with colorful, weather-resistant glazed ceramics, is also a must-see. Finally, a stroll through the lively pedestrian zone will allow you to experience the gentle way of life in this uniquely charming city before returning to the ship in Mohács.

From the quay, a short walk leads to the Kalemegdan Fortress, an iconic symbol of the city. From the top of its ramparts, you can admire a spectacular panoramic view of the confluence of the two rivers and New Belgrade, while catching a glimpse of some artifacts from the military history museum. The tour continues on foot in the city center and the pedestrian area around Republic Square, allowing you to experience the daily hustle and bustle of the capital. The main historical and cultural sites line this walk: the Royal Palace, City Hall, and St. Sava Church, one of the largest Orthodox places of worship in the world, before returning to the ship.
In the evening, an optional excursion offers the chance to discover the city from a festive and authentic perspective. You will attend a performance of Serbian folklore by one of the country's best groups, combining traditional dances, music, and costumes from all regions of Serbia, as well as from the minorities living there. The varied influences, from Russia to Turkey, are reflected in this colorful and dynamic show. The evening ends with a short bus ride through illuminated Belgrade, before returning on board to continue the cruise.

The fifth largest city in Bulgaria and the country's main port on the Danube, Ruse was once known... more+ by its Roman name Sexaginta Prista, "the city of sixty ships." Your tour begins in the historic center, where you will see the old railway station before heading to the Pantheon, a Christian memorial dedicated to Bulgarian national heroes. The tour continues to the Alyosha monument, then to the concert hall and the lively and bustling central square.
You will then discover the Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, one of the oldest religious buildings in the city, before strolling through the pedestrian streets lined with monumental buildings. The basilica, perched on a hill, dominates the landscape and was built around a modest chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary, who gave the site its name. According to tradition, as early as 1633, two miraculous healings took place here, followed by numerous accounts of miracles and angelic apparitions. From the top of the hill, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Niebelungengau. Back in Ybbs, the tour continues at the former ship captain's house, now converted into an art gallery, the Atelier an der Donau, where paintings and sculptures by artists from all over the world are on display. The more curious visitors can even try their hand at artistic printing before strolling through the old streets of the town, which bear witness to its former glory.
Another option immerses you in the world of technology and engineering with a visit to the Ybbs-Persenbeug hydroelectric power plant, the oldest in Austria and the fourth most powerful on the Danube. Completed in 1959, it transforms the power of water into electrical energy and has made the river safer for navigation.
