It is now time to pass by Thermopylae, where Leonidas and his 300 Spartans resisted the Persian... more+ army. After Leonidas' death, the Greek fleet withdrew to Salamis, the scene of the decisive battle. Today, instead of the Persians, we come across the colorful sails of two peaceful fishermen. A beautiful cove awaits us before we cross the strait to reach the small port of Agia Kiriaki, known for its traditional shipyard. We then continue to the extreme tip of Pelion and the hilltop village of Trikeri. This is an opportunity for a pleasant walk offering magnificent views, which we end by cooling off at the village café.
