At the bottom of a fjord, you will reach the Svartisen ice cap, Norway's second largest glacier.... more+ Its deep blue blends with the green of the fjord water and vegetation. The glacier is part of the Saltfjellet-Svartisen National Park, one of the most spectacular geological formations on the Norwegian mainland and home to an abundance of wildlife, including wolverines, lynx, elk and Arctic foxes.

400 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle, on the 69th parallel, the small town of Tromsø is known... more+ as the Gateway to the Arctic. Nestling between icy fjords and craggy peaks, Tromsø lies on the eastern tip of the island of Tromsøya. After a ride on the famous Fjellheisen cable car to a breathtaking viewpoint over the city, you will visit the Artic Cathedral, whose architecture evokes glacial crevasses and the Northern Lights. Finally, you will visit the Polar Museum, dedicated to the fauna and flora of the Arctic and the history of the conquest of the Poles.
