Malaga Granada Malaga At sea - Spain
Full-day excursion to Granada (lunch included - driving time ~2h there and ~2h back). At the foot... more+ of the Sierra Nevada lies majestic Granada, with its impressive Al-Andalus heritage and gems of Renaissance architecture. You'll visit the Alhambra, which means “the red one” because of the color the walls take on at sunset. It is one of the major monuments of Moorish architecture and the most majestic medieval acropolis in the Mediterranean world. Along with the Great Mosque of Cordoba, it is the most prestigious testimony to the Muslim presence in Spain from the 8th to the 15th centuries. You'll be dazzled by the finesse and profusion of its decorations and sculptures. Then, visit the Generalife, the summer residence of the Nasrid princes, and its marvellously designed 14th-century gardens. The gardens of the Generalife are the most significant symbols of the domestication of water, which refreshed every courtyard and garden.

From its splendid bay at the heart of the Strait, Tangier contemplates the union of these two worlds. Very early in the morning, early birds will be able to witness the entry into the Strait and the arrival in Tangier.
Departure for a day trip to Chefchaouen (lunch included - driving time ~2h30 there and ~2h30 back). Chefchaouen is one of Morocco's most beautiful villages, remarkably perched beneath the peaks of the Rif. It's an ideal place to stroll through the narrow streets of the Andalusian-influenced medina. You'll discover historic monuments such as the great “El Masjid El Adamaa” mosque (exterior).
When you return on board, the boat will cast off and leave the Strait of Gibraltar for the Atlantic Ocean. We invite you to join us on the sun deck to witness this unique moment with a cocktail in hand.

In the morning, visit Casablanca. This young and dynamic city is an essential stop to understand... more+ the country. It combines Moroccan architectural tradition with modern urbanism. You will discover Mohamed V Square, lined with beautiful buildings where Art Deco style blends with traditional Moorish style. You will admire the Palace of Justice (exteriors), the Post Office (exteriors), and the Wilaya (or City Hall, exteriors). Then, you will visit the Hassan II Mosque (interiors), the second-largest mosque in the world and one of the few religious buildings in Morocco open to non-Muslims. A symbol of Casablanca's grandeur, you will be captivated by its harmonious volumes and superb details. Everywhere you look, you will admire geometric patterns, interlaced curves, and floral designs carved in stone, typical of Moorish art. The mosque's interior is equally refined, featuring zelliges, carved cedar wood, intricate stucco, and calligraphy reflected in the marble. The tour continues in the Habbous district, rich in history and traditions. In its narrow alleys, lined with shops and bazaars, time seems to have stood still. Finally, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the famous Corniche, a long avenue offering a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean.

In the afternoon, visit Rabat (travel time ~1h30 one way and ~1h30 return). An imperial city by the ocean, Rabat boasts a rich historical past. You will be charmed by this city bordered by a long stretch of golden sand, its wide avenues, and the golden walls of the old town embracing the dazzling white houses of the modern city. You will visit the Chellah Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the father of Morocco’s independence.

Dominated by the minaret of the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, the city is teeming with unparalleled energy. As you wander through Jemaa El-Fna Square and the souks, you will be enchanted by the scents and colors that promise a true change of scenery. You will have lunch in a restaurant in the medina, where you will taste traditional Moroccan cuisine. You will then visit the Bahia Palace, a masterpiece of Arab-Moorish architecture. At the time of its construction, it was the most sumptuous and largest palace in Morocco. The balance between stone and nature is breathtaking, with gardens full of rosemary, orange, and grapefruit trees, as well as vibrant flowers—a small oasis of freshness. Inside, you will discover a vast space adorned with intricate zellige mosaics, carved wooden beams, and mesmerizing floral and geometric patterns. Next, you will explore the Majorelle Gardens, one of the most enchanting and mystical places in Morocco. Surrounded by walls, the gardens form a maze of pathways, terraces, and Moorish-style buildings with bold Art Deco colors. Designed by French painter Jacques Majorelle in 1922, the gardens house a lush collection of exotic plants and trees from around the world. In 1980, Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé acquired the gardens to save them from destruction planned for a hotel complex.

Departure for a full-day excursion to Southern Morocco, heading to Taroudant and Tiout (lunch included – travel time ~2h30 one way). Discover authentic Morocco by traveling through the Anti-Atlas mountains. In the heart of the Souss Valley, between the High Atlas and the Anti-Atlas, the ramparts of Taroudant rise, enclosing one of Morocco’s most beautiful cities. As you explore its gardens and courtyards, you will uncover the magnificence of this southern treasure. The city prospered from the trade of indigo, sugar, and cotton, attracting the interest of many invaders. In a setting full of discreet charm, the medina seems frozen in time. Strolling through the souks, you will find small hidden treasures: silver jewelry, local crafts, herbal products, olives, and honey. A tour of the city walls will allow you to admire its nine gates, the oldest being Bab El Kasbah, which offers a stunning view of the Pasha’s kasbah and the gardens of Taroudant. The journey continues to Tiout, where you will enjoy a traditional lunch at the Kasbah of Tiout (alcohol is not served). Afterward, take a leisurely stroll through the Tiout palm grove, a dazzling oasis at the foot of the kasbah. Nicknamed the "Garden of Delights," this place is home to a beautiful orchard where orange trees, date palms, pomegranate trees, and carob trees grow. During the visit, you will stop at an argan cooperative to learn about the nutritional and cosmetic properties of this precious oil.
