Chiang Rai Golden Triangle
Between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., you will be picked up at Chiang Rai Airport or directly at your hotel... more+ in town and set off on a journey to the legendary Golden Triangle. Your adventure will begin with a visit to the majestic Golden Buddha of Sop Ruak and a museum that will give you an in-depth insight into the complex history of opium and its effects on health.
In the afternoon, you will board your exclusive cruise ship, the result of a collaboration between German and Laotian partners, guaranteeing a high-end and authentic journey. Settle into your cabin and discover the spacious decks and cozy lounge. To celebrate the start of this unique adventure, you will enjoy a welcome dinner carefully prepared by the crew.

Golden Triangle Huay Xai Pak Tha
After a final breakfast on Thai soil, you will cross the Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge to officially... more+ enter Laos. Your first stop will be the bustling border town of Huay Xay, an economic and commercial center in Bokeo Province, whose name means "sapphire" and refers to the region's rich heritage.
This is where your Mekong expedition truly begins. From the very first hours of sailing, marvel at the wild splendor of northern Laos: lush greenery, mist-covered mountains, and isolated villages nestled along the river. We will finally drop anchor for the night at Pak Tha, an important area at the mouth of the Mekong River.

Mekong Pak Ou
After a relaxing morning on board, we will reach a picturesque riverside village around noon. Here,... more+ we will explore the legendary Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of small Buddha statues placed there by pilgrims over the centuries. From this sacred place, you will have the opportunity to take a hike through the jungle that will lead you to the local village of Ban Muang Keo. If you prefer a more leisurely approach, a short boat ride will take you to the village. Once there, you will witness a demonstration of a fascinating traditional craft: the distillation of Lao-Lao, the famous rice whiskey of Laos. Miss Somechan Khonpachith, who has perfected this art, will not only share the secrets of this ancient technique with you, but also invite you to a tasting. As the day draws to a close, our boat remains anchored, offering breathtaking views of the imposing limestone mountains, a spectacular backdrop for a peaceful evening.

Today, we dock at Luang Prabang, the former royal capital of Laos and one of the most beautiful... more+ cities in Southeast Asia, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your day begins with a guided tour of the city that will take you to Wat Xieng Thong, the city's most famous temple and a masterpiece of Laotian architecture. At sunset, you will climb Mount Phou Si, which offers magnificent panoramic views of the Mekong and Khan rivers. The evening is free to stroll along the banks of the Mekong River and soak up the atmosphere of the colorful Hmong night market.
In the evening, you will enjoy our farewell dinner on the banks of the Mekong, a perfect opportunity to share memories and highlights of this unforgettable trip.

Early in the morning, you will have the opportunity to participate in Tak Bat—the traditional... more+ almsgiving ceremony in the streets of Luang Prabang. Dozens of monks and novices dressed in orange wind their way through the narrow streets of the old town. Then, your guide will lead you through the bustling morning market, where the air is filled with the fragrant aromas of exotic spices, locally grown tea, and freshly brewed Laotian coffee.
After a final breakfast, it will be time to say goodbye to the crew and check out. Our adventure together will end with your transfer to the airport or your hotel in Luang Prabang.
