Itinerary

Hô Chi Minh Cai Be
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Saigon and take you to Can Tho or Cai Be.... more+ You board your wooden river cruise boat around noon. After a refreshing welcome drink, we will show you our onboard facilities and your comfortable cabin. Lunch being served, the boat begins its cruise. Sit back and observe the fantastic landscapes and daily life of the Mekong people. In the afternoon, you can disembark for a leisurely guided walk through a village and the surrounding orchards or rice fields. Meet the friendly locals and taste the local produce and fruits. Come back on board and enjoy a drink at the bar or relax on deck as the sun sets over the magnificent waterscape of the Mekong. The boat will anchor for the night. The day ends with a delicious dinner on board. You spend the night aboard your floating hotel in the Mekong Delta.

Cai Be Chau Doc
Wake up well-rested to the sounds of the Mekong River and get ready for another exciting day of... more+ sightseeing in the Mekong Delta. At 6:30 a.m., the cruise ship departs for a sunrise cruise. Watch locals go about their daily lives drying exotic fruits and building ships at the wooden construction sites while enjoying an early breakfast. After breakfast, we board a sampan boat, depending on the itinerary, either to Cai Rang Floating Market, the busiest and liveliest market in the area. We will stop at the boats to chat and negotiate with the merchants. Alternatively, we will explore the small channels of the Mekong Delta around Cai Be with a small sampan or on foot. Marvel at the abundance of exotic fruits, vegetables and expertly artisanal regional products. We will also visit some local candy and rice paper manufacturers or sail through the green water landscape to see local houses, green orchards and shipbuilding yards. The floating markets of the Mekong Delta are not tourist markets but wholesale markets where Mekong Delta products such as fruits and vegetables are sold. For this reason, the number of boats on the market fluctuates depending on harvest seasons and market demand. Additionally, modern wholesale markets are becoming more and more popular in Vietnam. This may lead to a reduction in the number of boats present on the markets. If visiting the floating market is important to you, please check with us for the itinerary. Disembark the boat around 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. at the dock and have lunch at a local restaurant. Sit in the shuttle (bus or car) and observe the waterscape from a land-based perspective until reaching Chau Doc where we will take you to the elegant Victoria Hotel.

Chau Doc Phnom Penh
We transfer you to the pier where you board the speedboat for an exciting ride to Phnom Penh, your... more+ starting point to discover Cambodia and the famous temples of Angkor Wat. The boat arrives around noon in Phnom Penh; The trip ends with a transfer to your hotel in the city. Please contact us if we can help you organize your visit to Angkor or any other trip. Of course, we will also be happy to organize your transfer back to Saigon.
