Hô Chi Minh
Meet at the Liberty Riverside Hotel restaurant between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Lunch at the... more+ hotel. After lunch, we will explore the local Chinatown and discover the daily life of its inhabitants. We will also visit the Giac Lam Pagoda, which is over 300 years old and the oldest pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City. Finally, we will visit the flower market and Binh Tay market for a 15-minute walking tour to discover how locals buy and sell food and local products. Transfer to the boat. Settle into your cabins. Welcome cocktail.
Dinner followed by the "Saigon After Dark" excursion, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (included for departures from January to April 2026, optional for departures from August 2026 onwards; when the excursion is optional, it must be booked at the time of registration). A nighttime excursion with a culinary adventure. On the back of a vintage Vespa scooter, you will delve into the heart of Saigon's nightlife. You will sample local flavors, stopping at various spots for cocktails, seafood tastings, cold drinks, and even Vietnamese crepes to complete your journey. Finally, you will attend a live music concert. Return to the boat and overnight on board.

Vietnam is famous for its high-quality coffee production, and there are many cafes in the city center. After lunch, we will head to the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City. This museum is a must-see to understand the history of Vietnam. Founded after the reunification of the country and opened to the public in 1975, it pays tribute to Vietnamese combatants and civilians during the war and highlights war crimes, aiming to inspire peace throughout the world. You will start with a local boat cruise to Thoi Son Island, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the daily life of the islanders and taste seasonal fruits. You will also take a sampan ride along the picturesque canals to get a closer look at the Mekong Delta and its unique features. Later, you can explore the village by bike and admire the region's magnificent orchards. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with the locals and witness their way of life. Return to the boat and continue sailing to Cai Be, a small, authentic, popular, and lively town stretching along the lush banks of the Mekong River. It is also the capital of tropical fruits: bananas, pineapples, papayas, longans, rambutans, mangoes, water apples... The arroyos naturally irrigate the orchards. Take a local boat trip with a stop at a craft village where you can watch local products being made. Enjoy hot tea and fresh fruit while listening to local music. Drive to the restaurant where you will take a cooking class with a local chef. A little rest after lunch is in order before setting off on a kayaking adventure. An unusual experience in the Mekong Delta offering a unique aquatic perspective. If you wish, you can explore the countryside by mountain bike and enjoy a different view of the local landscape. In the afternoon, tour the area by tuk-tuk, an authentic and immersive experience like no other. You will visit the beautifully renovated Art Deco central market and discover the local commercial scene. Known as "Phsar Thmei," the market is a bustling hub for shopping for clothes, food, and souvenirs. Then, you will stroll through the city's off-the-beaten-path alleys, getting a closer look at the daily life of Cambodians. Observe these timeless moments as locals enjoy their coffee while playing Cambodian chess and discover the local cuisine in its most authentic form. Then visit Wat Phnom pagoda. According to legend, Wat Phnom was built in the 14th century to house Buddha statues. It was Daun Penh, a wealthy old woman, who discovered four bronze and stone Buddha statues in a tree trunk washed up on the banks of the Mekong River. From there, enjoy a short walk to the French Quarter, where you can get a glimpse of the colonial era while admiring the beautiful architecture. The district has many Belle Époque and Art Deco houses and public buildings dating from the French protectorate (1863-1953). Back on board, enjoy a show of classical Khmer music and dance. Phnom Penh Kampong Tralach Oudong
Departure by boat to Kampong Tralach. Visit the beautiful Vihara of Wat Kampong Tralach Leu pagoda.... more+ It can be reached by crossing the village via a small road perpendicular to the river, surrounded by magnificent rice fields. The vihara dates back to the beginning of the last century and was probably built on an older site, as suggested by the laterite foundations. It has some magnificent murals. On the way back, you can return to the boat by mountain bike through the beautiful countryside, admiring the beauty of the rice fields surrounding the area before reaching the boat. Lunch on board. Departure for Oudong, which was the royal residence and capital of Cambodia for over 250 years. Visit the Vipassana Dhura Pagoda, located at the foot of a hill where there are many stupas dating back to the last Khmer kings. It is also a place of meditation for Buddhist monks. Then, you will have the opportunity to discover Oudong Hill, which requires climbing many steps. The climb may seem a little tough, but your efforts will be rewarded at the top with a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside, rice fields, and Tonlé Sap, before you stroll around these places steeped in Cambodian history. Back on board, we will set sail for Kampong Chhnang. Dinner and night on board.
