Do I need any specific vaccinations for my cruise to Egypt?
Updated on: 18/08/2025No vaccinations are required for a cruise to Egypt! The only exception applies to citizens of countries where yellow fever is endemic (namely in Central Africa and South America).
However, certain vaccines are recommended:
- againsthepatitis A
- againsthepatitis B
- against typhoid
- against rabies
In reality, you don’t have much to worry about regarding potential health issues during your cruise: meals are prepared with fresh, top-quality ingredients, and dishes are thoroughly washed withmineral water.
In addition to health and hygiene considerations, you must meet two administrative requirements to enter Egypt:
- your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date from Egypt
- you will need a visa, available online at https://www.egyptianevisa.org/fr/visa for a listed price of $25(approximately €22 ), or on-site through our partners for an additional $3.
