Discover the islands of the Gulf on Naples by boat

Sparkling, lively, overwhelming: there are so many adjectives to describe Naples and it is impossible not to be fascinated by this multifaceted city. The Gulf of Naples itself can be considered as a postcard landscape with its unique profile thanks not only to Vesuvius, but also to the islands that have always attracted tourists from all over the world, especially in the summer season. The islands of the Gulf of Naples are the perfect destination to go to with the boat rental in Naples and where to spend a relaxing weekend at a slow pace or to spend a longer holiday on a boat and discover the multitude of coves and caves of this archipelago. Each island deserves a special visit and if you have a few days we suggest you to start discovering a couple of islands, choosing them according to your interests, without forgetting to pay particular attention to the gastronomy, rich in products grown by locals.

Ischia

Together with Capri, Ischia is the most popular island in the Gulf of Naples and it is not difficult to understand why. Although tourism has always been important, having been elected a holiday destination by international celebrities, Ischia has managed to preserve its genuine soul. Discover the island with boat rental Ischia: you will live a unique experience and you will enjoy the soul of this place managing to avoid many tourists who visit this destination especially in summer. Arriving from the sea you will immediately recognize the island thanks to the shape of the Aragonese Castle, a real symbol of Ischia that is connected to the island by a bridge. If you want to relax and you are interested in wellness and body care, the best for you is the Bay of Sorgeto with its hot springs that come out of the subsoil and meet the sea. You can also regenerate yourself in the numerous thermal gardens as the island is rich in thermal waters appreciated since Roman times.

Capri

In the common imagination, it has always been synonymous with the international jet set life, but this island offers much more and you will discover it better by renting a boat on Capri. Let yourself be enchanted by Capri's Faraglioni, three rocky "stacks" that have become the symbol of the island. Explore the "Grotta Azzurra", a karst cavity where the rock meets the turquoise water of the sea, creating a magical setting that will remain engraved in your memory. Always synonymous with chic and fashionable holidays, Capri offers much more. In addition to the high fashion boutiques and the famous Piazza Umberto I, better known as the "Piazzetta di Capri", where it is not difficult to meet popular celebrities, Capri has different walking paths and scenic spots surrounded by nature and within walking distance. Among the various points from which to enjoy breathtaking views we recommend the Monte Solaro, from which you can admire the view to the mainland.

Procida

If you prefer a less fashionable holiday far from the crowds, Procida is the destination for you, with its coves and small beaches, some accessible only by sea. Get lost in the maze of narrow streets surrounded by colorful houses typical of the island's villages, let yourself be carried away by the scent of lemons and discover by boat, with the boat rental in Procida, and by walk this island where you can breathe an atmosphere out of time. We reccomend to visit Marina Corricella, the oldest village in Procida, famous for being the film set of  "Il Postino: The Postman".

Ponza

With an artistic and natural heritage to be discovered, Ponza is a small corner of paradise that sea lovers will fall in love with at first sight. Most beaches can be reached by boat, renting a boat in Ponza, or even by walk. Among the lost popular we suggest Chiaia di Luna, a free beach that can be reached through a gallery that dates back Roman times, the bay of Bagno Vecchio, a small rocky beach that hosts a Roman necropolis, and Cala Freola, one of the few sandy beaches on the island. For the ones who love fun, we recommend Frontone Beach, equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, which around sunset becomes the meeting place for those who like to enjoy the view while sipping a cocktail and go wild to the rhythm of music. The Pilato caves are also worth a visit: they are a set of tunnels connected by a central swimming pool carved into the rock along the coast.
