Mindelo is a city of Cape Verde, located on the island of São Vicente which it is the main city. Second largest city, it is bound to the cultural capital of Cape Verde [ref. desired]. Famous for its music and musicians, Mindelo is the birthplace of the famous singer Cesaria Evora.
