The old town of Kotor, with its massive walls on the mountain, is located south of Kotorski Zaliv, deep in the bay of the Mouths of Kotor.
This large bay carved out lands consist of three separate basins connected by narrow channels. The Bay of Kotor is surrounded by higher ground (the surrounding mountains can reach 1000 meters) and in sheltered waters offer spectacular scenery.
The coast outside the bay is beautiful and you will not miss places to navigate once out of the Mouths.
