The Bay of Kotor in Montenegro Boka, Italian Bocca di Cattaro, is a bay on the west coast of Montenegro, dependent on the Adriatic Sea.
Kotor Bay form a bay which is often wrongly considered as the most southern European fjord. In fact, Bay was not formed by the glaciers but is a flooded canyon. It consists of several deep inner gulfs of 40-60 m interconnected by deep passes and together form one of the best natural harbors in Europe.
