Emblematic of the Dalmatian coast, Dubrovnik... more+ occupies an impregnable rocky promontory. Make way for history in its old town, a Unesco World Heritage Site. You may be surprised by the proportions of the main artery, La Placa. Its width is due to the fact that it covers an ancient lagoon. The houses lining it are made of elegant travertine. At Porte Pile, the statue of Dubrovnik's patron saint welcomes you, and you can admire the coastline on a walk along the ramparts. What's inside Fort St. John? A maritime museum and an aquarium of rare Adriatic fish.

Bol is a confidential destination in the Dalmatian... more+ archipelago. You'll reach this picturesque village exclusively on the south coast of the island of Brac. Beyond the port, the seafront promenade leads to beaches shaded by pine and cypress trees. The most famous of these is Zlatni Rat, “the golden horn”. Bol Rab island
Arrival mid-day
Departure late evening

There's no doubt that this small island in the Bay of... more+ Kvarner will win you over with its authenticity. Dating back to ancient Adriatic times, its name means “wooded land” in reference to the forest of pines, cypresses and cork oaks surrounding the main town. The town is called Rab, like the island. Here, you'll have the opportunity to contemplate Venetian-inspired architecture, inherited from the Middle Ages, as evidenced by the campanile. Below, the fortifications offer views of the entire coastline, dotted with deserted coves.

Rab island Brijuni Pula
Arrival in the early morning
Departure in the early afternoon

From the sky, the Brijuni... more+ archipelago forms rounded shapes with vibrant colors on the Adriatic’s blue gradient. This group of 14 Istrian islands, with its mild climate and favorable geographical position, has been inhabited since the Bronze Age. The architectural heritage is remarkable, featuring Roman ruins from the 1st century BCE. Byzantine and Venetian remains add to this journey through history, which continues to the 19th century with the arrival of Austrian industrialist Paul Kupelwiser. By purchasing the island of Veli Brijun, the largest in the archipelago, he significantly contributed to its fame among Austro-Hungarian aristocracy during the Belle Époque. Later, prominent political figures such as Marshal Tito, former president of Yugoslavia, mingled with great writers of the time, like James Joyce and Thomas Mann. The natural beauty and biodiversity of these islands earned them national park status in 1983. By bike or kayak, from the land or the refreshing waters of the Mediterranean, explore this unique paradise.

A gem of the Adriatic located at the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula, Pula is undoubtedly the most Roman of Croatian cities. Strolling through the bustling streets of its old town, you’ll enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals and might be tempted by its famous Kvarner scampi or Istrian prosciutto.

Activities

From the quay, you will meet your guide and begin your walking tour through the streets of this medieval city.
During your walk, you will visit the Franciscan Monastery, whose cloister is one of the city's most iconic landmarks. The monastery also houses the... more+ oldest pharmacy in Europe still in operation and the third oldest in the world, founded in 1317. This pharmacy continues to sell creams made using ancestral recipes.
After visiting the monastery, you will head to the Cathedral of the Assumption, built in the 18th century on the ruins of a 12th-century church destroyed by an earthquake in 1667. Its simplicity and bright interior may surprise visitors, but its treasury is among the richest in Europe, boasting a unique collection of gold and silver relics.
Next, incorporated into the city's eastern walls, you will discover the Dominican Monastery, more modest than the previous one, and its museum featuring a fine collection of Renaissance paintings, including a triptych by Nikola Bozidarevic depicting Dubrovnik before the earthquake, and a painting of Saint Magdalene and Saint Blaise by Titian.
You will also admire other beautiful buildings from the outside, such as the Sponza Palace, notable for its columned courtyard adorned with exquisite stone carvings, the Church of Saint Blaise, the Onofrio Fountain, and more.
Afterward, enjoy some free time in the old town before heading to the Dubrovnik cable car. A short ride will take you to the top of Mount Srd, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Dubrovnik’s old town, the Elaphiti Islands, and Lokrum.
Relax with a refreshment before returning to your ship. This excursion takes place entirely on foot along cobbled streets with some stairs. We recommend comfortable walking shoes and sun protection. Appropriate attire is suggested for visiting religious sites (shoulders and knees must be covered). In the event of a religious service, the cathedral visit will be canceled. Photography of the treasures is prohibited. Depending on the season, waiting times may occur at the cable car. Pre-reservations open approximately 2 months before departure and close 7 days before the cruise begins, subject to availability.

From the quay, board your coach for a scenic one-hour drive along the Adriatic Highway to the town of Ston.
Ston was built according to plans approved by the Dubrovnik government in 1335 and modified in 1370, and is considered one of Europe’s best-planned... more+ and most structured cities. The city walls are a true feat of architecture and construction. Originally 7,000 meters long, they are divided into several sections: the city walls of Ston, the city walls of Mali Ston, and the great wall with its three forts. Its forts and towers are reinforced by 10 round towers, 31 square corner towers, and six semicircular bastions. It took almost four centuries to complete these complex defensive walls, as builders had to adapt to the difficult terrain and advancements in warfare technology. The walls were last used for defensive purposes in the 19th century and are now an invaluable monument due to their architectural and cultural significance.
Upon arrival at the walls of Ston, you'll begin your hike of nearly 900 meters over rugged terrain with more than 250 steps to climb to reach the town of Mali Ston, Croatia’s "oyster capital."
Once you arrive in Mali Ston, you'll board a local boat that will take you to the oyster beds and mussel bouchots. Your host will welcome you aboard and introduce you to the oyster and mussel farming in the area. You will have the opportunity to learn about the production and taste freshly prepared oysters and mussels, including mussels in Buzara sauce (cooked with wine, garlic, and olive oil).
Finally, you'll return to your coach for a one-hour drive back to Dubrovnik along the historic road through the coastal villages of Dubrovnik, a region called Dubrovacko Primorje.
This excursion involves a hike and includes approximately 3 km of walking on uneven and steep terrain with over 250 steps. We recommend wearing comfortable hiking shoes and protecting yourself from the sun. This tour is not recommended for people with health issues. The tasting is included in your excursion. This excursion is limited to 40 participants.
