Explore the iconic Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world's first monumental stone building. Continue on to the Pyramid of Titi, famous for its pyramid texts, and explore the tombs of the nobles, richly decorated with scenes from daily life. Then head south to Dahshur, where pyramid architecture has taken on spectacular new forms. Visit the fascinating Bent Pyramid, with its unique angles, and the Red Pyramid, considered to be the first true smooth-sided pyramid and the predecessor of those at Giza. Following the visit, enjoy lunch en route before driving back to Aswan. In the late afternoon or evening, transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo.
