Check in to your hotel in Aswan, then set off in the afternoon for a boat ride through the Nile’s First Cataract. As you cruise along, enjoy views of key landmarks: the Nobles’ Tombs carved into the hills, the elegant Agha Khan Mausoleum, the lush Plantation Island, and the iconic Old Cataract Hotel. Keep an eye out for exotic birdlife like the Black Ibis, Gray Heron, and Kingfisher. After lunch, make a stop at the sand dunes on the west bank. After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and set off on a memorable desert journey to... see+ Abu Simbel (approx. 3–4 hours’ drive). Upon arrival, visit the two magnificent temples carved into the mountainside by Ramses II — a monumental tribute to both himself and Queen Nefertari, with stunning statues and intricate reliefs that continue to awe visitors centuries later. Following the visit, enjoy lunch en route before driving back to Aswan. In the late afternoon or evening, transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, a representative will meet you for your transfer to your hotel in Cairo.
