Breakfast at the hotel, then departure for visits to the southern part of ancient Thebes, where the... more+ temples of Karnak and Luxor are located. The two temples are connected by a dromos, a long avenue lined with sphinxes, and are dedicated to Amun. The three-enclosure temple of Karnak is itself part of the Karnak religious complex, a complex that includes the ruins of other temples, buildings, and pylons. Its construction and subsequent modifications spanned more than 2,000 years. After the visits, transfer to your boat, settle in and have lunch on board, then in the afternoon, visit the Temple of Luxor, built in the 14th century BC during the reign of Amenhotep III and later modified by Ramses II, who added six monumental statues and two obelisks. After the visits, return to the boat, dinner, and overnight stay. In the evening, optional sound and light show at Karnak Temple.

Breakfast, then visit the necropolis of Thebes on the west bank of the Nile, followed by the Valley... more+ of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, where the tombs of many pharaohs of the New Kingdom are located, as well as their families and favored nobles. The tour continues with the Colossi of Memnon, the last remains of the temple of Amenhotep III, and Deir el Bahari, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Carved out of the rock in the mountain of Thebes, this three-tiered temple is both harmonious and modern, and although dedicated to the god Amun, it also contains chapels to Anubis and Hathor, the goddess protector of women. This is not surprising, since Hatshepsut, one of the four female pharaohs to have ruled Egypt, is considered "the first great woman whose name has been preserved by history." After the visits, return to the boat for lunch and sail to Esna. The passage through the lock will take place at the end of the day and will be marked by a "Galabya Party" costume party with dinner and overnight stay on board.

This temple dedicated to the falcon god Horus is both the largest temple of the Ptolemaic dynasty and the second-largest sanctuary in Egypt after Karnak. Inside, the intact paintings, inscriptions, and reliefs make it the best-preserved temple in Egypt. Return to the boat for lunch and sail upriver to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Built on a hill by three Ptolemies, the temple is surrounded by a perimeter wall covered with reliefs. Inside, the space is divided into two parts: the northern section dedicated to Haroeris, the falcon-headed god, and the southern section to Sobek, the crocodile god. Return to the boat and sail to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.

Started by Pharaoh Nectanebo... more+ I during the 30th dynasty and completed by the Romans, it is the main sanctuary dedicated to Isis. A felucca ride around Elephantine Island and exploration of local shops, then departure for the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. The Aswan region, rich in schist, alabaster, and pink granite found only in this part of Egypt, provided the stone blocks for the pyramids, statues, and colossuses built by the pharaohs. In the granite quarry, you will find the largest known obelisk to date (41.75m), which was abandoned due to a crack in the rock. Lunch and dinner on board. The Unfinished Obelisk of Aswan is an impressive remnant located in an ancient granite quarry in Upper Egypt. Commissioned during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut, it was intended to be the largest obelisk ever constructed, reaching about 42 meters in height and... more+ weighing an estimated 1,200 tons. However, a crack that appeared during the carving process halted the work, leaving the monument incomplete and still attached to the bedrock.
Today, the site provides a unique insight into the working methods of ancient Egyptian stonecutters. Visitors can observe extraction techniques, tool marks, and the monumental logistics involved in creating such structures.
