Regensburg is a truly exceptional city: with more than 1,000 listed buildings, this city located at... more+ the northernmost point of the Danube is the only medieval metropolis still intact in Germany. Due to its beauty and historical significance, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006.
Ratisbon's emblem is the 12th-century Stone Bridge, which crosses the Danube with its 16 arches over a length of more than 300 meters. Another major attraction is the 13th-century Gothic cathedral, recognizable by its two slender towers.
Also famous throughout Germany, the Walhalla, a memorial dedicated to illustrious personalities, is located just outside the city.

Ratisbonne Straubing
The magnificent Danube city of Straubing is considered the heart of Old Bavaria. It is therefore... more+ not surprising that it is full of sights to discover. The most famous is undoubtedly the city's Gothic tower, a landmark visible from afar. Built in the 14th century, this watchtower still watches over Straubing today and stands between Ludwigsplatz and Theresienplatz.
In the historic center, numerous shops and cozy restaurants invite visitors to stroll and relax. The beautifully restored patrician houses with their colorful facades bear witness to the city's rich past and the prosperity of its former merchants.
The famous Roman treasure, consisting of sumptuous armor, gleaming helmets, coins, and remarkably well-preserved equestrian equipment, is on display at the Gäubodenmuseum. Nearby, the late Gothic parish church of St. Jakob also houses many treasures, including the famous Moses window by Albrecht Dürer from around 1500.
The ducal castle, located directly on the banks of the Danube, is also worth a visit. This gleaming white complex impresses with its majestic location and imposing architecture. Formerly the Bavarian residence of the Dukes of Bavaria-Straubing and part of the city's fortifications, it houses the Knights' Hall, one of the largest ballrooms in the country.

Impressive facades of historic buildings captivate every visitor. There, we will also find the Old Town Hall and the Old Cathedral.
The Baroque Main Square of Linz, with an area of around 13,200 m², is one of the largest enclosed squares in Austria. In the center of the square stands the impressive Trinity Column made of white marble.
Not the tallest but the largest church in Austria is the Linz Mariendom (Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception), also called the "New Cathedral." Stroll with us through the narrow lanes of the Old Town, where we turn our attention to other pleasures after so much culture.
The guided tour ends in the center, leaving you with plenty of time to explore on your own before strolling back to the ship.
