Ratisbonne
Regensburg is a truly exceptional city: with more than 1,000 listed buildings, this city located at... see+ the northernmost point of the Danube is the only medieval metropolis still intact in Germany. Due to its beauty and historical significance, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006.
Ratisbon's emblem is the 12th-century Stone Bridge, which spans the Danube with its 16 arches over a length of more than 300 meters. Another major attraction is the 13th-century Gothic cathedral, recognizable by its two slender towers.
Also famous throughout Germany, the Walhalla, a memorial dedicated to illustrious personalities, is located just outside the city.

Ratisbonne Straubing
The magnificent Danube city of Straubing is considered the heart of Old Bavaria. It is therefore... see+ not surprising that it is full of sights to discover. The most famous is undoubtedly the city's Gothic tower, a landmark visible from afar. Built in the 14th century, this watchtower still watches over Straubing today and stands between Ludwigsplatz and Theresienplatz.
In the historic center, numerous shops and cozy restaurants invite visitors to stroll and relax. The beautifully restored patrician houses with their colorful facades bear witness to the city's rich past and the prosperity of its former merchants.
The famous Roman treasure, consisting of sumptuous armor, gleaming helmets, coins, and remarkably well-preserved equestrian equipment, is on display at the Gäubodenmuseum. Nearby, the late Gothic parish church of St. Jakob also houses many treasures, including the famous Moses window by Albrecht Dürer from around 1500.
The ducal castle, located directly on the banks of the Danube, is also worth a visit. This gleaming white complex impresses with its majestic location and imposing architecture. Formerly the Bavarian residence of the Dukes of Bavaria-Straubing and part of the city's fortifications, it houses the Knights' Hall, one of the largest ballrooms in the country.

Straubing Passau
Thanks to its exceptional geographical location at the confluence of the Danube, Inn, and Ilz... see+ rivers, Passau is undoubtedly one of Germany's most unique cities. Towering over the city, the 13th-century Veste Oberhaus fortress impresses with its stature and historical significance.

Passau Linz

A dreamlike panorama awaits you from the Pöstlingberg, accessible on foot or comfortably by mountain train. From the observation deck and the baroque pilgrimage church, it is also recommended to take a detour to the Grottenbahn, an enchanting fairy-tale world that will delight young and old alike.

Linz Melk

Melk Bratislava

Linz: Walking Tour
Linz is the capital of the state of Upper Austria and, with approximately 207,000 inhabitants, the third-largest city in Austria after Vienna and Graz. Today, Linz is an environmentally conscious city of culture and academia, stretching along both sides of... see+ the Danube. On today’s walk, we will turn toward the nearby Old Town. Impressive facades of historic buildings captivate every visitor. There, we will also find the Old Town Hall and the Old Cathedral.
The Baroque Main Square of Linz, with an area of around 13,200 m², is one of the largest enclosed squares in Austria. In the center of the square stands the impressive Trinity Column made of white marble.
Not the tallest but the largest church in Austria is the Linz Mariendom (Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception), also called the "New Cathedral." Stroll with us through the narrow lanes of the Old Town, where we turn our attention to other pleasures after so much culture.
The guided tour ends in the center, leaving you with plenty of time to explore on your own before strolling back to the ship.

Linz: Salzburg Highlights (without lunch)

Vienna: city tour
Vienna, the capital of Austria, is a city of superlatives and delights every visitor. First, you will drive via the Urania to Schwarzenberg- and Karlsplatz, past the Musikvereinssaal to the State Opera. Afterwards you will take a leisurely walk from the... see+ famous Hofburg, the imperial to the medieval Vienna. At St. Stephen's Cathedral you will have some free time to visit the cathedral from the inside, visit a typical Viennese coffee house or take a Fiaker ride. Afterwards, stroll through the famous Kärntner Strasse back to the bus. Now the tour continues along the Ringstrasse, passing magnificent buildings rich in tradition such as the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. A short photo stop rounds off the program here before the bus takes you past the University and Votive Church back to the ship.
