It is located on the slopes of Aspromonte, a long range of steep mountains running through the region’s center. From the... more+ pier, your coach will take you to one of the most important archaeological museums, the prestigious National Museum of Magna Graecia, dedicated to ancient Greece. These two statues—discovered in August 1972 near Riace—are considered among the most significant sculptural masterpieces of Greek art. You will then head to Scilla, an ancient village known since Homer’s time, who described it in the Odyssey as the home of Scylla, a nymph turned into a sea monster by the sorceress Circe. A labyrinth of narrow streets, stepped passages, and small squares, the city has attracted many civilizations over the centuries. Walk in the footsteps of the heroes of antiquity. Embark on a journey through time and immerse yourself in the heart of this legendary history during a visit to the iconic sanctuary of Olympia, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Rising from the Alpheus valley, on... more+ the slopes of Mount Cronion, the Olympia site is much more than just a witness to ancient Greece. Dedicated to the cult of Zeus, the sanctuary hosted the most famous Panhellenic games of Greece for over ten centuries: the Olympic Games. During this unique visit, admire some of these spaces, relics of this precious past.
Here, each vestige is a whisper from centuries ago, as with every step, the grandeur of this era reflects through its imposing temples, sacred altars, and theatres where the cheers of past spectators still resonate...
Let yourself be seduced by the Altis, the sanctuary and cradle of cults and games, home to the oldest of the great Greek temples, a symbol of Doric architecture: the Temple of Hera. Nearby, the altar of Zeus stands proudly, receiving the offerings of believers. A row of 12 small votive temples, also called "treasure houses," are dedicated to Zeus and allowed the population to make offerings. Below the treasure houses, you can glimpse the remains of a series of sixteen statues of Zeus, funded by heavy fines imposed by Olympic judges on athletes who cheated or tried to win through dishonest means. Outside the Altis, there is a tunnel leading to the stadium and its grand 192.25-meter track, as well as the hippodrome where sporting events took place. Imagine yourself among the 40,000 spectators, filled with emotion as athletes competed in effort and excellence.
Finally, visit the Olympia Museum, housing all the discoveries made at the site, including the bas-reliefs of the Temple of Zeus.
This excursion involves walking on uneven or rocky ground with some stairs. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and protecting yourself from the sun.

On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, the site of Delphi opens the doors to a sacred world, where every stone evokes the glorious past of ancient Greece. Walk the Sacred Way, the path once taken by pilgrims and kings of Antiquity, and embark on a journey out of... more+ time. Here, the history of Greece and its legends overflow from everything: the ruins and ancient monuments, but also from the surrounding nature, always sublime.
This is immediately evident at the Temple of Apollo. Built around the 7th century BC by two legendary architects, Trophonius and Agamedes, only a few remnants of this Doric monument remain today, which was once decorated with shields captured from the Persians. Yet, the foundations and columns still present seem to echo their grandeur in the surrounding mountains.
The same goes for the ruins of the Delphic Senate, as well as the remains of the Oracle of Delphi, where thousands of pilgrims gathered to receive the oracle of the Pythia, the priestess of Apollo. The ancient theater is also worth a visit.
Just a few steps from the Temple of Apollo, you can also discover the exhibits at the Delphi Museum, showcasing items found at the archaeological site for over a century. Vases, bronzes, sculptures, precious offerings made to Apollo by the pilgrims, gold and ivory objects found under the slabs of the Sacred Way subtly tell the story of one of the most emblematic places of Antiquity.
This excursion involves about 1.7 kilometers of walking on uneven ground, with some steps. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and protecting yourself from the sun.
Pre-reservations are open with your advisor about 2 months before departure and up to 7 days before the cruise begins, subject to availability.
